Although the staff were accommodating, which in New York is a plus, this couldn't compensate for our small room that badly needed to be refurbished. The location is a plus and the WiFi was good. No return visit for us.

This is a great little hotel. I had a single room, and although it was amall, it was nice. Very clean, comfortable bed, away from the street so very quiet. The hotel is an old building but nicely re done. The hallways are narrow but cheerful with lots of light (dingy hallways give me the creeps.) Bathroom was recently renovated...

Did Clarion forget to mention on their website that this is now being used as a NYC social service emergency shelter? Its not a guest driven hotel -its a welfare hotel. I want everyone to have a home- but this isnt a home... its a pretty small room in midtown Manhattan.

Comfortable hotel, good location and fine breakfast. Clean room, (if small) but furnishings are worn and should be replaced. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room prices are less outrageous than other hotels in the area. This is New York City in September after all.

My husband and I stayed for two night's. The room was super small but we did not expect it to be big. We did not spend much time in it anyway. Just don't bring a lot of luggage lol. There is a really nice bar right next door that we highly recommend! We had a great time in the city....

This hotel is being used by the city to house the homeless. Unless you want to spend your vacation in an authentic homeless shelter, avoid this place. This is a great location, there are many nicer options close by

I live on Long Island and have an office in the city, but for a three day work assignment at one of the local hospitals they pick up my expenses so keep in mind I did not actually pay the bill. Having said that using my AAA discount and the Choice Hotels website the rate I got ($179) seemed pretty...

The location is awesome, there's subway really close and you are at a walking distance to many attractions. The hotel itself is below the average. You can be much better accommodated with just a few dollars more. The rooms are really small, the shower is really tiny and everything is old. The staff was friendly, but I don't think it's...

Best service I've ever received at a hotel. Staff was incredibly attentive, listened, and resolved any and every issue I had. Breakfast was very tasty and clean, and the breakfast attendant was extremely courteous and polite. Pedro at the front desk was especially helpful and went very far out of his way several times to make sure I had an...
