The hotel is clean and in a great location. Booked through Travelocity...2 adults....the room turned out to be so small with one double bed....for two Adults!!! Had to pay additional $$$ to upgrade to a "larger" room. Still extremely small with a garbage view $358 for one night.....not worth it at all!

The City Club is in one of our favorite locations. Close to theaters and shopping and yet on a quieter and less hectic street. We have previously enjoyed the Iroquois next door but none of their rooms accommodate four people. The deluxe double double at City Club even holds 5. With all of reviews about small room size, we were...

Our room was tiny and the size quite a surprise when we opened the door. We are accustomed to hotel rooms that are quite a bit bigger. That said, it was clean, furnishings appeared new, and in the end we have decided that the room was near perfect. Our bed was super comfortable, nice use of space to accommodate clothes,...

We have been looking for a hotel to become "our" hotel in NYC. We generally prefer smaller boutique hotels; the service is personalized and the amenities tend to be nicer. I must say City Club did not disappoint. The lobby staff was friendly and upbeat each time we encountered them. One of the women even remembered my name the next...

We went in a family of four, me, my wife and two daughters, and it was just perfect. We got two rooms and they gave us suites 507 and 508 that come together with a common door, what was very convenient. The hotel is very well located, just two blocks from Time Square, two blocks from 5th Ave and so...

I stayed for 3 nights last week, booked on hotels.com and was extremely happy with the location. The staff is very polite and helpful. Room service was great. I agree with the only negative is the lack of natural light from a window. The blinds are kept closed as the window looks at an office building. Oh, and they need...

Went to New York with the wife, mom, and 2 kids... Finding appropriate lodging was a challenge since we would either need an expensive suite or adjoining rooms. City Club came through with adjoining rooms at the price of some other hotel's single room prices. We had enough room to fit a couple more people. For New York standards, the...

I stayed here for one week in May and very much enjoyed the perfect location. Approx. 5 min. walk to the nearest subway station, the same to Times Square and many bars and restaurants. The staff is very polite and helpful and the room service does a brilliant job! The only negative point I can mention is the size of...

The hotel is small and intimate with lots of luxury touches. Also lots of quirks as we found out when we found the fridge etc behind a big picture and the hanging space behind a door that blended with the wall decor so it took us a while to find it. We never did find a mirror though in the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
