Great very central location, reception is very friendly. Elevators complicated, but lots of them. Coffeeshop on premises. Rooms are NY small, hardly space to tie shoes. Bathroom even smaller, but shower really good. Bed comfortable. Good size TV. Wifi free. They push for good TripAdvisor reviews, even giving QR code, which is pretty funny...
Upon arrival to this beautiful hotel we were welcomed by amazing staff Aaron and Arthur. The hotel is so pleasant and extremely clean with a great modern twist. The hospitality of Arthur and Aaron are above and beyond from the minute we entered the hotel lobby. They met and exceeded my expectations from the moment we arrived to this hotel. All respect for these guys at the reception , they are doing an amazing job here , a true sample of hospitality. Will definitely write another review for the hotel , since we just checked in, but definitely wanted to give my highest thanks to these guys after my warmest welcome here ! Excellent hotel with the amazing staff!
We booked a Terrace Room with great view for a special occasion. The view and terrace were sunny, comfortable and amazing. A room with a terrace is scarce in NYC and is a real selling point for this hotel. The room was not huge, but we knew this before booking and it did the job with lots of clever storage solutions. The bed was also super comfortable The room offered a refrigerator but we told this is just a cooler and it never kept drinks cool. Ice can be requested and will be brought to your room. Bathroom was clean. Shower was powerful with good toiletries. The lifts were great and I don’t think we ever needed to get inti the lift with another customer. This made us feel very safe. The location is central and just a short walk from Tines Square, Port Authority, Bryant Park, Hudson Yards and Macy’s. Would definitely recommend this modern hotel and a terrace room.…
Both My bestie and I visited NYC for a quick getaway weekend to see MJ and do some shopping. We loved our stay, the roof top experience is lovely, and The Steak dinner is excellent. When my credit card was misplaced, the staff, specifically Areus went above and beyond to make sure my credit card was found. My friend and I felt supported as guests throughout the process. Jason at the front desk and Humberto were incredibly helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Arlo Midtown is perfect for a few days- a smart boutique hotel with modern touches that delight. We came for Pride and loved our stay. The Arlo is new and has a beautiful aesthetic with a luxe comfort. The rooms are small but utilize such smart design that size really fades away. We would absolutely stay here again!
My wife and I stayed at the Arlo Midtown for NFT.NYC and it was the perfect spot. A quiet corner of Midtown. Our room was small, but the storage and space use elements are so well designed, we felt like our experience was in a room twice as large. The staff, particularly Ole, were incredibly helpful and always available. The night staff were equally friendly when we came in each evening after midnight. Our room had a few small issues over the course of the 7 nights, but solutions were always prompt and successful. Highly recommend for the price point.
This was an amazing stay. Perfect rooms, the bar and restaurant are great and the team was super helpful. Especially the team behind the bar helped us: every day they gave us free ice for our sampling bag, to cool down out sampling drinks. Wow We were so happy of this service
Was so pleased with this hotel. Super clean. Beds are very comfortable. Staff is so kind and helpful. Excellent value for the price. We used the bag check for our last morning there to explore a little more before our flight and my daughter checked her new stuffed animal. She asked him to take care of Fluffy for her and when we returned he told her that he enjoyed taking Fluffy for a walk while we were gone. It made her day! The elevators are high-tech! You just scan your room key and it takes you straight to your floor. We did not share an elevator with any other party and did not have to wait for an elevator. Really loved this hotel. The restaurant is underwhelming, but the cafe is great for a quick breakfast. The rooftop bar is a gorgeous setting. Housekeeping is by-request, as is normal now after the pandemic.…
You expect the rooms to be small and they are. But you don’t expect housekeeping to be by request only. After 3 nights there and no service the front desk said it was by request only. We requested, still nobody came. The restaurant for breakfast is awful, weak coffee and the hash browns were unrecognizable as food, more like shoe leather. Decent Wi-Fi is extra.
Stayed here for the NBA Draft and everything was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful when trying to navigate the city. My favorite employees were Trigal and Dominque. Thank you for being so helpful and kind to us!
