I booked two rooms for our party for five nights. The rooms are large by NYC standards, very clean and the beds are very comfortable. However the service was cold and indifferent, especially when we had a problem. The heater in one room was so loud that you had to pause your conversation when it came on and it would wake us up multiple times each night. We asked to get it looked at, with no effect. After a second request it was looked at, resulting is a loud heater and a very strong gas smell. We had to insist being moved to another room, but that was only for a night. Still sounds like an elevated train at the window, I guess that is what they mean by the city that never sleeps.

We stayed in the executive king room for 4 nights in November, and paid around £650 for our stay. I did not imagine our room would be as big as it was, and it was a pleasant surprise. We were on the 7th floor, and the room was a very good size, and very spacious. The room had a little area for the fridge and kettle (the kettle was spotless and sparkling clean), and a large desk area. The room also contained an LG electric wardrobe that could be used to iron out your clothes, we used it on the sanitise setting, and were very pleased. The bed was also very comfortable, and the bathroom was also a very good size (the bathroom had a Japanese toilet which was one of the reasons I booked the hotel! The location is great, minutes away from Times Sq, Macys, but the hotel was still in a somewhat quiet road, there are two starbucks on either side, with 2 bagel shops, and a dumpling place just opposite the hotel. Check in and Check out was very pleasant, we had a really great interaction with one of the women at reception called Shirley, she was so lovely! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will keep an eye out for any of the other locations they are based in!

I loved the size of the rooms and although quite pricey, it did have 2 single (large!) beds which you pay heavily for in NY. The beds are seriously comfortable, best beds i have slept in …..I Liked most things about this hotel, also the fantastic central location, literally 200m from Macy’s, and Times Sq etc and Penn Station etc. The noisy air conditioning didn’t bother me, nor did the sad view of a building across the road. It was quiet. Loved the breakfast place across the road, and a bar next door. The cons: no laundry service The main con: i hated the check-in experience. Arriving after a 10hr flight in the late evening to be told they don’t accept 2 of my credit cards BECAUSE MY NAME DID NOT APPEAR ON THEM, was insanity. I even offered to prove on the CC APP THAT THE CARDS WERE INDEED IN MY NAME! They are spanish cards yet nameless. The manager offered me ZERO solutions to my predicament, and basically implied that unless i find a credit card with my name on, i could not check-in for my 8 nights. With a child with me, this is no joke! Not even cash accepted, no bank transfers accepted as a last resort. Jeepers. The experience killed me emotionally and mentally. THANK THE GOOD LORD ABOVE FOR GLADYS, THE MOST WONDERFUL and KIND RECEPTIONIST , that offered me a solution, after standing around for close to 2 hrs. Gladys, You are a superstar. The following morning when my brother checked-in he had a SAfrican credit card with a slightly different name to his greek passport: AGAIN, that manager, offered no flexibility. This is horrid behaviour, and no hotel in our travelling history has made it so hard to PAY FOR THE ENTIRE STAY. Apart from this, i enjoyed my stay and would even revisit. Change your antiquated check-in rules, as they are not in keeping with the rest of the world. Anyway, thank you Gladys 😘 YOU MADE MY HOLIDAY!

OK Clean room. If you are into no lobby and a small reception, this is OK. The size of the room is good. Just OK. The hotel is a small hotel and there is hardly any staff to be seen. Small reception area. The room we were placed in was on the 8th floor facing the back. So indeed quiet but... the room is not fitted with any fresh air possibilities except a huge air condition system. To get fairly OK air in the room this unit needs to run all the time and it makes more noise than an aircraft. Sleeping very hard. The bathroom lacks proper useful lighting, dark. Good. Nothing to say about the location of the hotel, very close to the metro station and in a generally good location.

Amazing location, Amazing accommodating staff. Got late check out when requested. Simple rooms with stylyzers in room with bidet. Would definitely return. Clothes can be steamed not ironed and bottom hygiene In place. Plus a super cool animatronic T. rex that everyone stops to look at. Great value as well, very pleased with picking this place.

We stayed in a double-double room. It was modern and spacious, with plenty of room for our luggage and to walk around. Robes and slippers were provided. We liked the large countertop space where we were able to easily eat takeout food. We used the bedside table as a stool for extra seating. Loved the heated Toto Washlet loo seat/bidet combo. Also the animatronic T-Rex in the lobby! Cons: The heating was extremely loud. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim. The bathroom fan was also very loud and could not be turned off when the light was on. The connection to screencast streaming services to the room TV didn't work, despite the maintenance guy trying to fix it. Note: There is a decent-sized refrigerator in the room, but no microwave or coffee maker. If you want a kettle for heating water you have to reserve it in advance, as there is only one for the whole hotel! (It's a nice one, though!)

My daughter was going to a concert so I tagged along. This is a great new hotel. An animatronic dinosaur greets you when you walk in the door. Desk clerks are friendly and helpful. Our room wasn’t ready but they held our bags in the luggage cage. We had an executive king that had a steam closet to freshen your clothes. A bidet in the bathroom that had a seat warmer which I thought was the best part. If you get the chance to stay there, do it.

Unfortanately the staff is rude, especially the woman from housekeeping.  She assumed I already checked out, and I could not use the bathroom in my room any more. Even tough I did NOT check out. They were painting the door from the room also. This is not service. She started talking really loud at me and that I should show my door key because I was checked out according to her. Also my husband asked, when he was at the hairdresser, what the worst and most criminal part in NY was, and he answered (not knowing where we stayed), the street  which the hotel was on. Every night there was a Police car standing there, almost in front of the hotel. Now I know why. Also, before we visited,  they responded really well. But when we checked out, they deducted more on our creditcard. Although via booking.com everything was already included in the price, and I did not get a response when I adressed this.  Only after 10 emails!! And still they did not want to help. If you want to a safe, don't stay at this hotel!

Hotel is in a great location very central to the key attractions. Rooms are a decent size with very comfortable beds but are basic, heating / ventilation system is antiquated and inadequate meaning rooms get very stuffy, very disappointing! Bath rooms are small but functional but the highlight is the super modern electronic toilet, fabulous…, Would I recommend this hotel, no unfortunately.
