The hostess is really helpful and friendly, I loved staying here and I would recommend this place to everyone I know! The breakfast is to die for and the beds are really comfortable. I celebrated my birthday in New York and the hostess bought balloons, it was a really amazing gesture ❤❤

Five ladies, (my sister, mother and two aunts), came to New York City to celebrate the 18th birthday of my sister. Staying with Tressi was perfect and she even left happy birthday baloons in our room. Lovely breakfast, lovely hostess, wonderful house!! Everything worked perfectly.

We had been to New York, staying in a hotel, 11 years ago and had a great time providing us with memories that have stayed with us. But this trip, staying at Heart of Harlem, exceeded it in every possible way. The location: Heart of Harlem is handily placed on the 2 and 3 line to go to most of...

Our stay at the Heart of Harlem was one of the best experiences me and my friends have had at a B&B. We got a real quirky room, not an en-suit, but we did have a bath in the room. The bathroom itself was out in the hall, which me and my friends actually preferred. I think it may be...

We arrived towards the end of March, getting to the house after 10pm. We were met by Tressie and Dwight who welcomed us and showed us to our room. The room was a real wow with high ceilings and original features and ensuite bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable with flat screen TV. You really feel at home here,...

The host here are excellent. I arrived late in the evening and was greeted by Thierry son who was so polite. Next came Tressie ..her smile is so bright and warm it could brighten the night enough to be day and make it seem like a summer day in winter. We shared stories and testimonies for over a half hour....

This is simply the best accommodation serving breakfast in New York. We are a family of 3 (2 adults and 14 year old) who stayed at this B&B in Sep 2016. For starters, the location is great - near food shops and subway which you can use to visit downtown Manhattan. The B&B is in a beautiful old brown stone...
