This is a "hotel" that is several floors in a residential apartment building on the corner of 1st and 33rd. We were having doctors appoints on 37th and 1st so it was a perfect location for us. It is a 10 minutes walk to Macy's and the Empire State Building, so not so far off the beaten track. We had...

OK here it is. Good - Location, room layout, kitchen, water view. Bad - Certain staff feel that they are doing you a favor to help you - not Shavar sp? he was great and the reason we may stay again. Others - not so great. Rooms were cleaned well but not vacuumed well. Go figure. BUT you get a...

Skeptical about mixed online reviews of this hotel but booked room because it was affordable and convenient to event we were attending. Delighted with studio room #711 which has a view of the Empire State Building. Yes, we've had cleaner, newer rooms and softer bedsheets elsewhere at higher prices but this was comfortable and quiet and $159. The immaculate kitchen...

I read the many reviews for this place and I kept saying to my husband, what is everyone's problem? This place was awesome! The carpets first off were clean and the hallway leading up to our room was nice and clean and well lit. The room was very nice. We had a one bedroom suite on the 5th floor. The...

Okay I am a research internet junkie ... I rely on trip advisor but also do tons of my own research and I ended up staying for my first stay in New York at the Envoy Club & Suites. Simply stop doing anymore research and book here. New York hotels are so incredibly expensive and typically very small. However the...

I was there in Nov 2010 for my brothers bachelor party. There were 6 guys staying together, and the 2 bedroom suite was awesome! Bed was great. slept like a log. HIGHLY recommend to anyone that wants an apartment style accomodation while staying in new york.

The beds suck. For $300 a night, you would expect a bed where springs don't stick into your back. I wish I had my sleeping bag so I could at least sleep on the floor and not have stuff sticking into my back. Also the pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable. As for everything else, not very nice, I wouldn't call...

The area was awful. I expected the place to be much nicer for $315.00 per night. We tried to get a room at The Beekman Towers everything was booked . So if you like broken lampshades, foriegn pubic hair in the bathroom, stained curtains, and a stale smell coming from the air conditioner, then this is your place. I nicely...

This suite hotel/condo was a great choice. The king bed was comfortable, the kitchen was beautiful with granite countertop and water/ice-cube dispensing fridge, nice space/storage, had clothes-drying rack. The walk to the 33rd Street subway was a little far in the immense heat, but would be just fine in cooler weather. Attractions all located within a $10 cab ride from...

Stain on the carpet !!!!!! so what !!!!!!!! Excellent value for money, especially in Manhattan Quiet area, kind helpful staff, everything was functional, I couldn't ask for more. If I am lucky enough to return to New York, I will have no hesitation in booking with Envoy Suites once again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
