an architectural gem coupled with the finest customer service...quite a treat. the beds are super comfy and the linens are soft. if you enjoy baths, ask for a room with a claw foot tub...magnificent. if you like magic, check out the magician show upstairs at the nomad--it's a mysterious delight.

My wife and I attended a family wedding reception and stayed at the hotel as well. Everything they do is top notch- from the food, to the signature cocktails, to the artfully decorated rooms. It's very impressive. Most impressive is the staff- helpful, friendly accommodating and very professional. Highly recommend!

This hotel has a quirky personality that's warm and welcoming and so totally intriguing! The rooms are delightful and have a sense of humor (mini bar and safe inside a steamer trunk), food and cocktails set a high bar for your visit. If it were any place but NYC, I could happily never leave the hotel. Generous closet space in...

Nice hôtel but 2nd floor is very dark. Don t trust them , I was supposed to get a bright room but got one on the first 2nd floor. I checked late, curtains were closed and so I wake up in a cave.... And of course the second floor is noisy: music from the first and noise from the street...

Walking from the bright streets of summer NYC into the dark, romantic and cosy lobby and reception of the NoMad hotel is an excellent place to rest from the high energy of one of the best cities on the planet. Charmingly decorated, comfortable with really excellent service.

Tucked into Broadway you would barely notice it's there. The front doors open into a cool Parisienne-esk furnished reception. The guys on the door could not have been kinder or more helpful to us wide-eyed Brits. The bar and restaurant is very buzzy wth guests and savvy locals. The room was classy and pin-drop quiet. The real treat was a...

This hotel has a lot of character, charm and comfort! I stayed for a night in a large suite room with a king bed, living room space, and a large bathroom. The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The bars and restaurants in the hotel are worth the visit. The staff (both at the lobby, bellhops, room service and at...

This Parisian hotel is by any means, very classic. And it shows in every little details - the copper door not, tall and heavy wood doors, high ceilings, walk in European style showers and vintage leather sofa. The bed is really comfy and clean. Breakfast staff are nice. Walkable to the Korean town and 5th avenue. Breakfast is not cheap,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The NoMad Hotel is housed in a turn of the century Beaux-Arts building that has been fully restored to its original grandeur with interiors by French designer Jacques Garcia. The hotel is intended as a fresh take on the classic grand hotels of Europe with a distinct New York sensibility. The design of the hotel was inspired by the Parisian flat of Garcia’s youth. The 168 rooms are residential in feel and decorated in his classic, timeless style. Each room is appointed with hand-selected, richly textured custom-designed furnishings and original artwork. The soaring ceilings throughout the public spaces provide a fine gathering place to enjoy dining, drinking and socializing. ... more   less
