This hotel is in a great location, well run, you are within minutes to walking distance to go many places (each 15-20 minutes) the Brooklyn Bridge, Fulton Fish Market, run/walk allong the waterfront, ship exhibits, Wall St, 9/11 memorial, the ferries to Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island and the waterfront. If you stay for business, AIG, Morgan Stanley and JPMC are a left out the door and 15 minutes down Water St. Several restaurants in under a 5-minute walk.

Ramoma at the front desk was great. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The hotel has a morning breakfast (self serve). If this doesn't work for you, the legendary Pearl St Dinner is a 7 minute walk or a juice bar across the street.

Parking, the recommended parking (YELLOW not tied part of the Hampton Inn) next door (cross the street). Directly across the street is an ICon (Orange) which is underground but not connected to the Hampton Inn.

We want to share our experience regarding our stay in the Hampton Inn, Seaport in Manhattan, NYC, NY; we stayed in this hotel the weekend of January 28 through January 29.

Since the moment we walked in, the staff was not only hospitable, but also friendly, kind and very helpful. The Manager, Ariel Alba and staff member Santa welcomed us and in addition to checking us in, they answered all our questions about the hotel and the area. It was our first time staying in the financial district, but they gave us all kinds of are information and suggestions for eating and the best ways to get to the places we needed to go. You will always see Ariel working the front desk, in the office or mopping to make sure the floor is always clean.

Then, we also met Fran which she worked the front desk. She was so nice and end up being a performer and giving advice to my daughter for her auditions.

When we arrived to the room, we looked around, especially the bathroom, and it was cleaner that we were expecting. We have been to many Hilton family hotels; from Double Tree to Embassy Suites to Homewood, and I can honestly say this has been the cleanest. This to include the elevator, the breakfast area, the lobby and hallways. During our stay we witnessed the cleaning of the lobby numerous times per day; they really take pride in their work and the hotel clearly shows this.

During breakfast, the staff was always attentive and helpful. The food was fresh, well presented and all countertops and tables were clean and always clear of trash which created a welcoming and trusting environment. I mentioned trusting in reference to our current status in regards to Covid; at no time I felt at risk due to seeing them keep everything so clean and tidy.

When it came time to check out, we had a similar pleasant experience. Furthermore, I was trying to schedule an Uber and the cost was very steep and although we were expecting this, Ariel assisted us with scheduling a limo service saving us over $20 USD.

We can say it’s been one of the best experiences, if not the best we had in a hotel. They definitely have a great team! We are truly glad we found this Hampton Inn and hands-down recommend it to anyone looking for a very good and clean. We have definitely found our favorite hotel and look forward to visiting NYC and staying there. We had such a good time with everyone; it was a pleasure staying there.

Again, thank you to Ariel, Fran & Santa for making this our favorite trip and Hotel stay.

Loved my balcony room! The room was well sized and had everything I needed for a 2 day stay for business. The location provides easy access (10 min or less walk) to the Financial District and WTC, Seaport District, Brooklyn Bridge and Civic Center. I didn't need to subway at all and it was January! With just 9 floors, the elevator wait times aren't long at all either. Will stay again!

We stayed here for several nights over the New Year weekend. I realize it was holiday pricing, but for $540/night for 2 queens, you'd expect a nicer room, and certainly better service. I asked twice to have an engineer check our A/C, as the room wouldn't cool while we were there. No one ever came. We slept with just sheets on. I asked for room service, and the front desk told me I needed to ask for it a day in advance. I was also told that, since I would be checking out the next day, they won't clean a room the day before checkout. Fortunately, I found someone in housekeeping who agreed to help. I realize that many hotels have used Covid, water conservation and staff shortages as an excuse to cut down on housekeeping, but really....at these prices, you can't provide housekeeping as a basic customer service? I stay at Hamptons all of the time, and I've never been in one with so little regard for customer service. The gentleman manning the breakfast buffet was extremely pleasant though. Also, thanks Housekeeping for giving us a hand. If you reserve a room here, just don't think that it's representative of the brand's other properties. Very disappointing.

Manhattan is expensive, duh. This hotel was on the lower-end of choices but still was $300 per night for a room with two beds. You are within walking distance of everything downtown: World Trace Center, Brooklyn Bridge, NYSE, Battery Park, etc. The staff were cheerful and helpful. The breakfast had pretty good offerings of hot food and continental breakfast items. My room (404) had a view of the WTC, which was pretty nice. Lots of restaurants nearby for dinner. It's a long taxi ride or 30 minutes on the subway to the theater district, MoMA, the Met, Central Park. The room was adequately clean although not immaculate. No fridge in room. The front desk can arrange a flat fare $90 taxi to Newark Airport.

We stayed here for my fiancé’s birthday in early May. The breakfast offered consisted of bagels, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt. We felt they could have done a bit more. When we arrived in outback room we didn’t realize that we didn’t morning have shower towels until my fiancé got out of the shower. I had to go downstairs to get them. Over the course of the night we also killed 5 bugs in the room. They could have been coming in because we had a balcony but we’ve stayed in other hotel suite in NYC with balconies and never had that issue. Overall we say that we had a good weekend in spite of the hotel. It was unfortunate that I had to say to her that at least we are only here for 1 night.

My husband and I stayed last week for my birthday and I was very impressed from start to finish. We arrived at approximately 2:20pm and had no problem checking in, in fact it was the easiest check in I've ever experienced. The gentleman was friendly and accommodating, sorry I did not get his name. the hotel is close (on top of) the Seaport. We were attending a concert at Pier 17 and we walked a few blocks to attend. Its really great when you can check in, freshen up, go to dinner, have a drink, and go to a show with never having to get a cab and only walk a short distance. Every time in the future we attend a show, we will be staying overnight (we live on Long Island). The room was very clean, and had everything we needed including space. The continental breakfast in the morning was the real pleasure of the trip. We had every intention on heading to the Seaport for pastries however I had coffee and my sons girlfriend had a waffle. The gentleman, Caesar who works this small dining room, went out of his way to accommodate every person in the room. We watched him anticipate each persons needs and get things for them before they even knew they needed it. He made the waffles, he served the waffles, and he cleaned up plates. Continental Breakfast does not include service, however this gentleman served everyone.....all with a huge smile on his face. We will 100% return to this location. 5 star!

Since our first stay here years ago, we knew this would be our hotel whenever we visited NYC. It is perfectly located near the south street seaport, if you're driving, close to the bridge if traveling to Brooklyn and a convenient walk to the train. Abby greeted us when we arrived and made sure we were comfortable with our room. We asked if we could be moved to an upper floor and when a room became available we were moved. Ariel was helpful when we had any requests and both he and Abby made sure we were happy with our accommodations. Great place to stay when away from home!

Stayed here first week in October with my two daughters.
Very shortly after checkout my daughter realised she had forgot to pick up her two rings from little shelf in shower area. Emailed hotel to inform the staff. Did not get any reply! Returned to hotel 3 hours later and spoke with gentleman at front desk who initially said room had not been serviced. When we got to the room head of housekeeping was there with the lady who had cleaned room and said no rings were left! When asked who else may have been in the room since we vacated another man arrived who apparently had done a check before cleaner arrived! Said rings were not there.
Senior staff informed me they would investigate this matter and get back to us.
No further correspondence from hotel staff which is very disappointing!
These rings were off great sentimental value to my daughter.
A horrible ending to our trip to NYC and our advice to future travellers to this hotel do not leave anything of of personal value in your room!

The area is safe and actually very good. I would recommend to set up your Uber or Lyft (car service) prior to your arrival to the US so you can use it to go from the airport to the hotel. It will be less expensive than taking a regular taxi.
