Very helpful staff in every aspect. Rooms are small but very clean. Beds are comfortable. Comfortable lounge space. Great location! Easy to walk to Empire State Building, Macy's, Times Square, Grand Central Terminal, etc.

I arrived late and had an issue with a noisy room . Something was making the entire room vibrate ! A Technicien came swiftly but the problem persisted I was immediately upgraded to a quieter room . Great location near grand central station, friendly staff -especially Stevie and Romaine available for transport, tips on restaurants etc..- my only regret is...

We stayed at Pod 39 for 5 nights in December 2016. My wife and I like to do as much exploring as possible when travelling and to that end Pod 39 was really well located being only a 5 minute walk from Grand Central Station which provides access to the Subway which we used extensively during our visit and is...

The room I was in had a full size bed, small shower and little table with a tv hanging from the wall. The bathroom is literally 2 feet or less away from the bed so if traveling as a couple it might be a problem. It worked for me as I was traveling alone for business. I wish it would...

Everything was swell. Totally tiny rooms but that's fine, you're out and about in the city. Very basic but with some sense of style. Comfortable beds and quiet. I'd stay there again if traveling solo or with one of my kids. I'd probably get the bigger room/bed if I was there with my wife.

The Standard Pod was indeed small but it was advertised as such so I was not surprised. I was surprised however to find everything I could possibly need in the room. Who needs more floor space? The hotel was super quiet....I got a great sleep each of my 3 nights there. Location was terrific. The concierge (Christina?) was really friendly...

I stayed for one night while passing through NYC to Connecticut. All comfortable and good service. Stayed in Queen-sized room. Not much storage space which would be an issue if staying longer than couple of nights. Location is perfect and able to leave luggage while I spent day in NYC. Watch out for local taxes. I ended up paying almost...

It should not be allowed to sell such a ridiculous tiny room. Our flight arrived early in the morning and there was no room available at the hotel. That's usual, no prob, so we went for a long walk. Hours later we came back to check in around 3 pm, extremely tired, hoping for a nice shower and a good...

If you a youngster or young at heart, there is a place for you at the pod. Beautiful place and beautiful people. I felt young at heart here, lovely ambience and good people around. Room was quite small, but it was nice and clean besides for a place like that in the heart of Manhattan, it was the best it...

For some reason I haven't posted on my visit here (even though it says April 2016 it was really the summer 2015 they wouldn't let me actually type in a date) but still wanted to contribute about my experience because I know how helpful these reviews can be. Overall not a bad hotel and I would stay again if needed....

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
