Located close to the famous Manhattan Bridge, it is a good hotel for Solo Travellers and also for families. Rooms are rather small but very clean. Location is good. Staff at the reception is very helpful. Breakfast is functional - not elaborate.

The heat and cool units in our rooms are broken since day one from our three nights stay. We ask every day , but manager said all book so, there's nothing he can do. Temperature can only set to 90 degrees heat or 45 degrees cold and nothing in between.

We were welcomed to check in before our time because our plane arrived early and it was ready, which was a great start to our trip!! We got to our room on the 10th floor and it had a nice view of the bridge from the shower, but we noticed it was very hot in the room. We opened up...

Words cannot describe how happy I am with this hotel. When you enter its very calm and chic. I stayed on the 8th floor back view not a problem. The city lights make you fantasize about NYC. Clean and when I say it's clean that's a good thing. So what the room is small. It's CLEAN After walking around NYC....

My husband and I stayed here for a week while visiting New York in October. We have nothing but PRAISE for HoJo SoHo - nice new building, clean facilities, and excellent staff. There is breakfast provided in a downstairs courtyard (under a glass atrium), nice a relaxed setting to start the day. Double glazed windows (that can be opened) in...

Was very apprehensive of what the hotel would be like considering it was in the Chinatown area, which is very dirty and run down, but I was very pleasantly surprised when we entered the lobby and again when we went to our roonm. The room was small but beautiful and oh so clean! It looked brand new. The bathroom was...

This is a nice little hotel - design wise and room space wise - in the far end of Chinatown (not SoHo). My wife and I enjoyed the room, bathroom, shower, bed, lobby design, and breakfast space during our one night stay The problem is that - because of that location, which is on the outskirts of the main chinatown...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
