When you visit (or in my case...explore) New York City, the first thing you will realize if you want to stay in Manhattan, you will pay big for the privilege. Not so at the Solita Soho. The location was amazing, basically on the border of Soho and Little Italy, and easy walking distance to Chinatown, and the Lower East Side/Bowery....

This hotel may be in a convenient location but it is NOT worth the hassle. They made several errors on my Credit Card and seem to be incapable of making the correction. They rely solely on their invoice and can't reconcile to the credit card transactions. In order for me to get my money back I had to call my...

Lovely little hotel in a really convenient location. We enjoyed the local restaurant and streets. Rooms were economical and comfortable and concierge was always staffed with a friendly face and warm smile

Situated very well. Close of stores and restaurants but it is too noisy, there is no double window and it's as if we slept in the middle of the street. I had read these comments and I said myself it is NY and I went all the same but there it's true! Small, but clean and comfortable room. No lobby...

Our friends, my husband, and I stayed here for NYE! It was a great little place! It was comfortable and is in a wonderful location. We loved it! Also, you can't beat the price! I'd definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The location is great and the concierge was extremely nice. (I forgot her name). She was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. The comforter in the room was very dirty but overall the room was comfortable. I would say it was a little expensive compared to other hotels that were much nicer in the city. I would...

This hotel is decent. The reason my rating is not higher is because the hotel messed up and removed about 500 dollars from my credit card, unauthorized, and it took several days and me talking to several different members of their team to correct the problem. Furthermore, at first people at the front desk were trying to justify the mistake...

Good Morning, I just wanted to thank you for the review. I am sorry about the confusion with the credit cards. We do require first night deposits, and if the card is changed it takes a few days to go back on the card. However i am glad you loved the location and hope you can give us another chance....

the location is great for Soho, however the rooms were not very clean. They are tiny and I really wanted to throw out the bulky desk chair which didnt allow you to move around the small space. Under the bed was dirty, but otherwise fair enough. Very standard but the staff was super nice.

It's a small place with no facilities, but as you are in New York you are never far from somewhere to eat! The location is good, for getting around although the nearest subway is a good 10 minute walk. As there's not much left of little Italy anymore the hotel is really in Little China town which has expanded to...

In the heart of Little Italy, great location and surroundings. Friendly staff, small and cozy rooms. Nothing fancy but clean and neat. TV and free wi-fi. No breakfast but lots of good pastry shops around. Very close to Canal subway, easy to get around. Surrounded by great shops and little boutiques of Soho. Nice experience, I'd definetely go back.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
