My husband, 13 year old daughter & I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Fifty NYC. Our room on the 3rd floor was very clean & the two queen sized beds were comfortable & the bed linen was crisp & fresh. I had read reviews saying that the hotel was noisy but we didn't have any problem...

Honestly I would like to give this property about 3 and 3/4 stars but didn't get that chance. There was nothing at all that was bad about the hotel. Everything was good but I guess I have been expecting more of late. Rooms were big enough and clean but finishes were not at a 5 star level. I slept ok...

We stayed at Fifty NYC from 2/18/17 to 2/20/17 in a corner suite with 2 double beds. Overall, the hotel was nice but nothing about the facilities stood out as particularly remarkable. We were traveling with our 7 month old baby and it was great to have a large room in the city with a kitchenette so that we could...

Attempted to think of why this hotel would not get top marks and struggled My room looked recently refurbished. Was done to a high standard with a nice sized room bathroom and balcony. Location was excellent in midtown close to everywhere I wanted to be. All staff were friendly professional and courteous. Cleaners did an amazing job every single day....

Stayed here in a HUGE suite & loved it! The view was divine, all of the skyscrapers are right in front of you. There is a terrace, bedroom, kitchen, living room & dining area. There is a large lounge downstairs on 2, which we enjoyed at night. The fireplace was quite cozy - you don't get this in Manhattan btw,...

It's in a great location, between 3rd and Lexingron. In found the room was a good size and the staff were very helpful. Having a gym is important to me and there's a basic gym with a couple of running/cycling machines and a few free weights.

If you had told me I could find a luxurious hotel for under $200 in a safe area and was bigger than a postage stamp, I'd have said you were crazy. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the Fifty. The room was larger than most city apartments (two closets, even!), the bed was heavenly and the staff was impeccable....

Room was cramped, though the beds were comfortable. Amenities were minimal. On the positive side, it's a pet friendly hotel, and while adults get only 2 glasses in the bathroom, our dog had a lovely food and water bowl set. Staff was most helpful with requests.

Thank you for your feedback. You’re correct in noting we are pet friendly and even offer a VIPaws program to pamper your pet. We hope we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you and your pup back soon!

Superb location. Room was large and easily accommodated me, my wife and my daughter (on the sleeper couch in the lounge). Self catering was a huge advantage as we are strictly Kosher. Problem was that only 1 elevator was operational which was an inconvenience. Probably time for a refurbishment. Overall a great stay.

Thank you for your review. We agree our midtown east location is perfect for exploring NYC, as we are only a block away from the E, M and 6 trains. We’re pleased to read you found the room spacious and comfortable for you and your daughter. Please allow us to apologize that an elevator was not operational during your stay-...

The hotels location is great! Lots of restaurants close by and the subway stations. The hotel rooms are very roomy for a NYC. Check in and out was very easy and pricing very reasonable. Would definitely go back!

We’re delighted to read you had a great weekend getaway. Being in midtown east we’re walking distance from many major tourist sites, while still being adjacent to lots of local restaurants and cafes. Thank you for your feedback and we can’t wait to welcome you back on your next trip to NYC!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
