You check yourself in, the lifts can be slow, and unless you have a floor up high, you get a lot of traffic noise (this is midtown New York) But, the rooms are quite large for New York and there is a decently priced restaurant if you just want a quick meal and it is ver conveniently located.

We stay there for seven days with some friends. Let's start with the positive: free Wi-Fi, sizes of the room (for New-York), room was very clean. We stayed on a room for 2 that could accomodate 3, the bed was comfortable but be aware that if you sleep on the couch, this one is really not comfortable at all. The...

Good location, nice room but a bit rough around the edges in terms of fittings, housekeeping and amenities. Great lounge and restaurant (yummy) and friendly staff. Can't beat the location. Room on 4th floor was surprisingly quiet for NYC which was great with our small baby. They provided a crib which was great.

On arrival my room was offered to me at $50 for an early check in, I decided to rather see NYC. On check in my room was suddenly not ready due to a late check out, had to wait. First room I got was not what I booked, second room best they could do was next to the kitchen. After...

We stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights. We arrived early in the morning and our room was not ready, but they quickly offered to keep our bags while we toured the city. When we returned late afternoon, our room was ready and our bags were already in our rooms waiting for us. The lobby is small as others have...

For a quick Business Stopover or a weekend stay it's OK, although not really fancy. Very small "Lobby" that can be pretty crowded at times. Staff is friendly even under pressure. Rooms are small, but everything you need for a short stay is there. Breakfast selection pretty small, but sufficient. Overall - not thrilling but good. Price range unfortunately on...

We stayed four nights and had a very pleasant experience. Staff were always accomodating and we enjoyed coming back to The Terrace for a break for a relaxing drink and good food! We walked to St. Patrick's Church, Rockefeller Center and the skating rink! Subway was very close and many restaurants to choose from!!!

We stayed here for three nights after our cruise. The entrance is small and can be busy with people checking in and out at busy times. We were early and our room was not ready but we were able to leave our bags and get out on the town. We returned and checked in flawlessly and our bags were delivered...

My wife stayed here from the 3rd March for 2 weeks as she had business in New York. I joined her on the 9th. Firstly, the reception. It's a small desk , more a podium in a hall leading to the lifts (elevators). Very nondescript. I didn't have much interaction with the staff, but when we did we found them...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
