The hotel is very thinly staffed. Be prepared for long check in queues and be ready to wait 10-15 minutes on the phone to reach a customer service person / front desk. Super-expensive breakfast buffet ($47 per person - beat that !). Rooms are decent and the location is good. Most of the staff come across as impolite - maybe...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We stayed here one night, and as a family of 5 (including 3 teenagers) we had a good time. Due to my status with Hilton as Diamond, we had access to the Executive Launch and this was a great perk. Being able to sit down for a cup of coffee or tea with some appetizers while looking at the city...

This place compares favorably with the Sheraton. The rooms are smaller and not quite as nice as the Marriott, but it's a better location than the heart of Times Square. The front desk is well-run and food is pretty good.

My 2 tween sons and I visited in February and were pleased with our stay. The front desk and concierge were very helpful and the staff in executive lounge were exceptional. I had two issues while there which are worth mentioning. 1) it was unseasonably warm in NYC and our room got hot. The thermostat was set to a comfortable...

The title says it all. I can't remember when it became default for hotel rooms to have a coffee maker, but we have become so used to it. I couldn't believe that we didn't have one in our room, which costed $209 plus tax (and that was with a conference discount). We had no choice but to go get coffee...

Our second year staying here during Thanksgiving week for the Macy's thanksgiving Parade. Right on parade route. Also, perfect location for sightseeing and visiting the city. A block away from Radio City Music Hall, blocks away from Central Park, Fifth Ave shopping, Times Square, and many other attractions. Close enough to the lights and action in Times Square but far...

Higher end Hilton property... expensive at times. If you are visiting the City.. this is a good place to get a flavor of the world. You will see people from all over. If you are in the City for business - stay away. It is very aggravating getting in and out of the hotel. It is also located at a...

The New York Hilton has a prime location. A variety of restaurants and attractions are nearby. Close to shopping and theatre districts. Good for conferences. I was disappointed not to have either a coffee maker or a little refrigerator in the room, because the downstairs coffee shop, while efficient with good food, is outrageously expensive. Rooms are nice. Attentive staff.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
