We arrived at the Hilton with our British Airways hotel voucher. Clearly written on it our room was to be "Deluxe room one bed sleek and modern. King bed. Spacious accommodates up to 4 with pull out sofa." When we got to our room # 948 we thought that is was a little cramped with a very small 2 seater...

I expected more from a 4 star hotel. The hotel is in a central location, WiFi free only in reception but they have loud musicplaying 24 hours a day so you will not feel comfortable. No tea or coffee facilities in your room, I asked redcerption why only to be told it costs too much..thank you for making my strasy...

It's the little things when staying away that make your hotel stay "comfy." I was not happy to get dressed each morning to get my own coffee from the local Starbucks. Neither the rooms or lobby have coffee available to visitors. Hilton no longer offers this to visitors.......how "cheap" can you be Hilton???

I didn't have any troubles staying at this hotel. My room (Executive floor suite 2 beds) was brilliant. Very clean. Turned down each evening. Lovely big TV which is a bonus for me in an age where TVs in hotels seem to be getting smaller. The room had a lovely big living room with comfy sofa and second tv. The...

We stayed one week in New York for holidays. We booked nearly one year in advance, so we got it on early bird premises. We learned that the upper floors were renovated, our room was not. The room was clean, but old fashioned. And two times the toilet stopped functioning...not very convenient. Breakfast was not included, and costed $45 per...

I just came home from a week in NYC. From the time we arrived until we left this morning the staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. The only downfalls I had with this Hilton were for the price I think you should have a refrigerator and a coffee pot. The room was a bit small but very...

Halfway between Central Park and Time Square this hotel is well located. Friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities in the hotel - cafe or take away - great selection. Recommend this hotel if you want to be in the centre of things but well taken care of.

Huge hotel. The location is great for a weekend stay in NYC, if you want to explore the central parts of the city. Short walks to Central park, Times square and other sights in midtown. One of the cheaper alternatives in the area, and we got very good value for our money.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
