Location was spot on, a minute away from Times Square, 5 minute walk from 5th avenue and about 10 minutes from the Empire State Building, found we only had to get a taxi once and subway once! Staff polite and friendly and rooms comfortable with...More
I spent one night recently at the Hotel Mela. My ONLY regret is that I couldn't have stayed LONGER!!! The room was outstanding, clean, modern, and comfortable. The location is a homerun as well!! Being close to Times Square, and the Theatre District lends itself...More
Our room was small but very clean. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
Great location round the corner to Times Square. Spoilt for choice for restaurants and diners
Only negative was constant humming of machinery outside window
Nice hotel! The location was short of a block from Times Square... Great location! The room was fairly small but I didn't spend much time in there. The staff was attentive and nice. I would definitely stay at Hotel Mela again!
From the moment we pulled up to when we checked out, everything was perfect. Short, very short walk to Times Square. Just steps from tons of shopping and dining locations minutes from the hotel. We chose to delay getting our rental car a few days...More
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
Strikes me that as WiFi etc is FREE everywhere and people use mobile phones etc this is a unwarranted extra cost.So you believe the hotel price is competitive and then you get conned out of more money. Smeaky !!!
