Clean, pleasant room with a comfortable bed. The lighting in the room was a little low, but otherwise, it was a great place to stay. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything about the Duane Street Hotel is rather small. But it is a clean, tidy, pleasant oasis amidst Manhattan. The rooms have just enough room on either side of the bed to navigate around. Storage is limited but acceptable. Ask for a room on the fourth floor as it is the quietest. The staff is pleasant and they are friendly...

The Duane Street Hotel is located in Tribeca with easy access to the subway and many neighborhoods for great walking experiences. The hotel staff is friendly and quick to resolve any of your needs. I stayed three nights and found that the hotel was also surprisingly quiet for being in New York.

This boutique hotel has great rooms, kind people, and a perfect location. My wife and I stayed here several times and we will return! My only complaint is that their cappuccinos "need improvement". Given all the challenges of finding a decent hotel in NYC-this is hardly a deal breaker even for a guy from Starbuck's city.

Ended up at the Duane Street by accident, and found it very enjoyable. Friendly staff, rooms that are well equipped and very quiet because of sound insulation, and a cool little bar. Close to WTC and many activities nearby. Well worth it.

I did a lot of research online to get a room that would work for two adults, my teen and my middle schooler. I didn't want a noisy area and didn't want to pay for two rooms, so we needed two big enough beds. The corner room on the 6th floor was perfect. It was very quiet with nice beds...

We have been staying at the Duane for years and have recommended it to friends and family. This trip we were given the same small room for our 5 night stay. Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
