We stayed three nights and our experience was good. I've stayed in many hotels in NYC, and this is one to which I will return. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the front desk staff which was exceptional, raising my rating from "average" to "very good". There was nothing surprising about the room, but the bathroom had an "aroma"...

Was impressed even before arrival, by the interactive feature which allowed me to change the room assigned to me for advanced checkin. One can expect the front of house staff to be friendly, but here, even the housekeepers in the hallway are genuinely nice. (You can tell when hotel staff are greeting you under orders.) The room was great, with...

Just returned from a great 5 night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca. Hotel has great location in NYC - on northern edge of Tribeca and just south of Soho area. Great areas for restaurants, bars and shopping. Only 15 minutes walk down to Freedom Tower and 9/11 Memorial which is a must-see if you are in NY. A...

We made a last-minute trip to New York. All the mid-town hotels were either booked or outrageously expensive. We found this Garden Inn in Tribeca and at first balked because of the location. However, the price was reasonable so we made the reservation. We are so happy we did. The staff was really delightful, friendly, and welcoming. We stay in...

I always stay in Hiltons, Hilton Garden or Hampton Inns when I go to NY and have always been satisfied with the brand. This hotel had nice staff, pretty lobby, spacious room, clean and well-kept, and maybe because we weren't on the street, VERY quiet. I heard no street noise! It was very relaxing for me and my 13-year-old son....

Hotel is clean and nice size room, as others have stated subway is right in front (A C E) line so if you need to go uptown its only a few minutes. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is parking on Canal, just head east on Canal from 6th ave.

This hotel has a great location in Tribeca. The rooms are clean, the staff is polite and you can get on the subway right outside. There are several excellent restaurants in the area and both Little Italy and ChinaTown are walkable. It's not fancy, but if you are looking for a good solid hotel to use as a place to...

My husband & I stayed here for 1 night after visiting family for Christmas. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel offers baggage hold for free so we did not have to carry our luggage as we walked around the city. The room was large by NYC standards & very clean, which is the most important thing to me....

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
