We stayed here for a 6 night family vacation. Check in was quick and practical. All staff in this hotel were very friendly - extra kudos to the people working the breakfast area! We were upgraded to a bigger family room than we booked, with a queen beds, a separate sitting area with TV and a separate kitchen - on the 12th floor. Very spacious accommodation. Everything was clean, although you can see these rooms get used a lot. Plenty of power outlets to charge your devices, decent WiFi. The only thing we missed is more facilities to dry your towels, we had to hang them all over the apartment to dry. Breakfast was a bit basic with a lot of prepackaged stuff and no bacon for the entire week we were staying there (not that we really missed it, but it's strange nonetheless). I also wonder who ever eats scrambled egg whites? But that might be us :-) Excellent location in lower Manhattan with metro and plenty of shops close by. The entrance of the hotel is in Maiden Ln, not on Broadway however. Walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge, WallStreet, Battery Park, 9-11 memorial.

The only reason why I'm giving this two stars is because of the location (close to subway) and also the rooms were decent. However, the service at this hotel was atrocious, especially Christian at the front desk. I checked in and told the front desk that we had two reservations for consecutive days. They told me that they would combine the reservations so I didn't have to come back the next day and change rooms. Seems like a pretty simple request. I come back the next day from a long day out and the key card stopped working. I go to the front desk to ask for help and the front desk agent (Christian) started berating me. Telling me that he's been trying to get in contact with me for hours and that I've overstayed. I tried to tell him that we have two reservations and all he said was "NOPE". He wouldn't even look at my phone to look at the reservation. He was so adamant that he was right that he kept on ignoring my questions. After a lot of back and forth, he somehow found the reservations and quietly activated our keycard. I then asked if the room had been serviced and he told me that it was not because 1. I had put the Do not Disturb sign up and 2. I did not have a second day on the reservation (both of which were false). No apologies, whatsoever. I can't believe Marriott would hire a person like this who try to discredit their guests instead of trying to figure out how to solve problems. Someone like this should not belong at the front desk of a hotel.

Residence Inn is one of my favorite Marriott brands, and I was shocked by how bad this hotel is. Easily the worst Residence Inn I've stayed in. The first room we had wasn't clean, and had a smoke machine running in it to get out the smell from a previous guest (it was apparently an accident that we were sent to this room apparently). The next room was tiny by Residence Inn standards - there was no kitchen to speak of. I don't know why they included a pot and frying pan in the cupboard when there is clearly no way to use either of these. Their paper towel roll had clearly been wet, and they didn't change it, and instead saw that it had dried, and despite the weird warped shape and color, thought this was fine to leave out. One positive: The coffee in the coffee machine at breakfast was pretty good. I highly recommend the Residence Inn Midtown East or Central Park instead of this one. I've stayed in both, and they are much better.

We stayed here over the 4th of July and could not be happier with our experience. We had a Maiden Lane suite and had plenty of room, subway was literally right around the corner. The best part was the staff, everyone was helpful and friendly and helped make our stay one to remember!

The front desk staff is so nice and cheerful but the quality of the room is horrible. It was so rundown and dirty. There were black hairs all over the shower floor and the base of the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Stray black hairs were also on the bedside tables and even though I called to get the room cleaned while out to dinner it did not address the issue. At 1am on one of the nights we heads a loud knock at our door. I had a do not disturb sign and had the door bolted so I ignored it. I proceeded to get phone call from a gentleman demanding why I’m not opening the door because they had linens for the pull out couch. I ordered no such thing and he barely apologized seeming annoyed and confused. I was upset because it was the middle of the night and my request to not be disturbed was blatantly ignored. I messaged the hotel that night and nobody got back to me on my complaint at all. This place is so gross and felt very unclean. Avoid this hotel and stay elsewhere

Stayed here for two nights as a family of 4. Had a standard 2-queen bed suite. Rooms are surprisingly large for Manhattan although smaller than what you'd expect from a suburban-style Residence Inn. We were on the 18th floor with a nice view, ceilings were very high and made the room feel larger. Room consisted of 2 queen beds, a desk, a small couch (not a pullout), with a fridge/microwave/sink at the entrance and a small bathroom (shower/tub combo). It was about 400 sqft. Despite the hotel being busy and our room directly facing the elevator (often a problem) we heard nearly no noise from neighbouring rooms or people and definitely did not hear the elevator. It was a nice, quiet stay both nights (although we did have the fan running). Convenient walk to Fulton subway stop (next door) or the World Trade Center transit hub for subway or PATH. We liked the location, easy subway ride to Uptown or down to Brooklyn, easy walk to World Trade Center or the Staten Island Ferry / Battery Park area. Only reason I didn't give this a full 5 stars is that some parts of the room were very worn / a little grimy. It was clean, but you could tell these rooms are well-used! Kitchen area and the bathroom shower had some caked-on grime which was a little disappointing. The guest room itself was clean and the beds very comfortable. Staff was very nice at every interaction. Breakfast was fine. I would come back to this property again especially if traveling with kids or for an extended stay. Very pleased with our choice.

In the City that never sleeps, this Residence Inn was nicely situated in lower Manhattan. The hotel itself is nestled in a mixed use highrise area so lower floors stare at residents. We had a high floor room (Marriott Gold Elite) so we had a lovely view of the New York skyline and rooftop gardens. The room itself was a bit squishy. The luggage closet couldn't quite accommodate our 24" suitcase and we wound up using the couch as the suitcase rack. The kitchen is fully stocked with a hotplate. There really isn't a market nearby so either you have to use a delivery service (and they wait outside until you get it from the delivery person) or completely forego the kitchen. The bathroom was small by Residence Inn standards but then again, everything is a bit smaller in NYC. It was clean and sufficient counterspace. The amenities were fully stocked and housekeeping was very gracious in providing a couple extra lotions without any complaints. The bathroom needed another hanging hook to steam clothing. The bathroom used a sliding door so there was no door hook. If you need to steam clothing, keep this in mind. There were plenty of electrical plugs and charging wasn't ever an issue. I recommend a travel router to route your WIFI with some measure of privacy. The wired ethernet connection wasn't working, unfortunately. Parking was about a 5 minute walk as there is no onsite parking. The overnight rate is $45 (I think) and looking back, I'm not sure why I bothered with a car while in NYC (I had to travel to New Jersey but I probably should have held off on a car until I actually needed it). Breakfast is the regular COVID fare. It was the small foods every day. I personally don't like the breakfast biscuit but others seem to enjoy the damp steamed biscuit itself so go figure. They have regular pot coffee and 2 machine grind dispensers. Really appreciate it. There was a relatively small breakfast area and a larger overflow lounge next door. It never felt overwhelming crowded. The cliente were either business travelers, couples or families. It was a good mix and everyone was polite and courteous. The beds were fine but we could have used an extra nightstand for my wife's devices (tablet and phone). Otherwise, it was a nice room and pleasant stay. Subway. The hotel is next to the Fulton Stop so it was easy access uptown and an easy walk to the Wall Street. Bonus, the pizza places around the hotel were amazing. Plenty of great restaurants within 10 minute walking distance. Just make sure to dress warmly as Broadway becomes a windtunnel at night.

Spent a weekend here with family. This hotel feels nothing like your typical suburban Residence Inn. It's made for Manhattan with chic urban styling throughout. Location: Outstanding. It's a block south of Fulton Center with the Fulton Street subway hub and many available subway lines going every which direction. Even with weekend subway disruptions you'll still find a convenient way to get wherever you need. Fulton Center is also connected underground to The Oculus and Brookfield Place with tons of indoor shops and dining options if the weather is bad. If exploring Lower Manhattan by foot, there are so many attractions within a 15min walking radius such as WTC, Wall Street, Battery Park, Pier 17, Brooklyn Bridge, and even the lower end of Chinatown if you walk briskly. I felt safe immediately around the hotel, even at night. Service: Check-in was very friendly. Maid was very attentive, noticed when we exited our rooms for the day and made sure to ask for our room number so she could get started with housekeeping. Room: We requested a higher floor during reservation and got the 16th floor (I believe there are 18 in total?). Three elevators here, all working well, some of the fastest I've seen in Manhattan hotels, never had issues with long wait or overcrowding despite a busy weekend. Room was very quiet with hardly any street noise, very clean with well functioning heat & AC. Loved the full size fridge, and small kitchenette with microwave. Beds are comfortable. The room itself is quite spacious for Manhattan standards too, and the high ceilings are a great touch. Breakfast: There's a typical Marriott free buffet breakfast here but I never woke up in time to get it. Also after 10am they reprogram the coffee machines so even though it's free during breakfast, you have to pay for lobby coffee - never saw this before at a Residence Inn! I have no complaints. I would absolutely stay here again if I had the chance and the price is good.

Great spot for visiting 911 museum and Statue of Liberty. Stayed one night in a Maiden Lane Suite. HUGE room for NYC! Jane at front desk was so nice and friendly. Breakfast was decent and saved our party of 5 a lot of money on breakfast. Loved the Starbucks coffee. Enjoyed the Amazon Go store and nearby O’Hara’s pub.

Just checked out after 4 fabulous nights at this wonderful hotel. First off, Jane at the front desk was AMAZING. She greeted us with humor and kindness and truly set the stage for the rest of the trip. She upgraded our 2 queen room to a Maiden Lane Studio which was a fantastic surprise and so much appreciated. We enjoyed the separate living area for the three of us to relax and watch TV together after a long day of walking. The rooms were in good shape and felt extra spacious for Manhattan. We all commented how quiet the hotel was while sleeping, despite being at full capacity. I would 100% stay in this part of town again, quiet streets at night, no sirens at a hours, and felt safe walking around. The subway stops were all within 1 block and had the rest of the city at our fingertips. The breakfast area was pretty congested in the morning, specifically the toasters. The bagels were delicious and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the breakfast as I know Marriott is changing their breakfast standards. Each day had scrambled eggs and scrambled egg whites. One day had waffles, which despite being in bag, were surprisingly good. I didn't try the souffle or the sandwich as they didn't look appealing to me. The free Starbucks freshly ground coffee was especially appreciated. Great job to the staff at this hotel!! Highly recommend.
