This was my first time staying in NYC. I had a great experience at Night Theater District. The rooms were very nice and clean. Check in was great. Robert at the front desk was professional, friendly and very welcoming. He answered all of my questions and was able to make excellent recommendations about where to dine. I will definitely be...

Nice rooms, cozy and with an amorous vibe. Staff was professional and with great warmth and attention to detail. I enjoyed the hotel decor: black and white pictures of masquerading characters in the halls, mood lighting, black and white color palette, etc. It gave me the unique feel of an 18th century aristocrat at a secret sex haven. My only...

This hotel was in a great location, very close to the theater for my tickets for the Lion King. Service was great, the AC unit in my original room started leaking when I got back from the show - because it was so late they watched me rooms and compensated me for the trouble. Was very satisfied.

Great location for sight seeing, quirky decor and comfy, clean room. Perfect for a few nights in the city. All members of staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly. There's plenty of places to eat nearby as well.

Rooms are small but it's New York! However the rooms are far too dark. Women ... Be careful when applying make up in that light!!! There is no breakfast either, which is fine because you are surrounded by places to eat. But some coffee making facilities at the very least would be useful

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write a review. I'm sorry that you were a bit disappointed with the size of your room. I'm sorry that it was a bit too dark for your liking. The hotel does have a night/gothic feeling which most guests seem to enjoy. If you have any questions or...

We stayed 4 nights. Check in was great and Patrick was welcoming. Yes the rooms are small, but all NYC boutique style hotels have small rooms. We managed. Especially if you're not in the room all day. Very clean. We had a room in the middle of the floors so no noise from the street. You're about 30 seconds walk...

On the first night we checked in we were stuck in a smaller room because ours (a higher priced room) was unavailable due to a power outage. The room they put us in had a double bed and was the size of a shoebox. Exactly what you'd be looking for after 1.5 hours on a bus, followed by 4 hours...

Our hotel room was near the street and we could hear everything all night! cranes, people talking, sirens! I am a seasoned traveler and rarely write a negative review. They need to install some sound proof windows.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

“Very small room, only one robe. Safe in closet without light which makes access difficult. Great air conditioning during extreme heat wave. Excellent location. Unique decor which is why I was drawn to hotel. We sponsor a student from Kenya and I knew the decor would be appealing to her. Staff friendly and helpful (except not so much the clerk on duty at our arrival) Did not use the restaurant/bar because the pub across the street had a good and economical breakfast.”
