I love this establishment! It was my first time staying here after booking it multiple times for my supervisor. So glad I was able to experience it for myself. Just to note I stayed at the NY location in FIDI. Perfect location to my office, very walkable, and most importantly there is a gourmet market around the corner for all your staples, coffee downstairs in the building and best of all, Crown Shy restaurant, which is out of this world. Most importantly, the front desk staff are complete superstars and not just friendly and fun to talk with, they are extremely knowledgeable and eager to help. I will be looking to stay here for all my future trips. Thanks Mint House, see you next time around!

Hotel's Favourite
Forget those overpriced Midtown places, Mint House in the Financial District (FiDi) is the way to go! We were looking forward to the roomy (for NY rooms) Studio Deluxe and were delighted to be upgraded to an even bigger 2 Bathroom 1 Bedroom with a full kitchen (full size stove, dishwasher and refrigerator) stocked with equipment. Loved the stylish decor, 2 big tables and good lighting. Malik at the front desk helped with restaurant and movie theater recommendations, very thoughtful! The full supermarket in the basement helped us save money by getting snacks and breakfast and the excellent Black Fox coffee shop in the lobby of this amazing Art Deco building helped start each day right. There is a subway stop (2/3 red line) 10 steps from the coffee shop (literally across the street) and it was an easy walk to the 9/11 museum, Battery Park, Wall Street and Trinity Church (site of Hamilton's grave), Little Italy, Chinatown and the Brooklyn Bridge. We also used the Shop Your Stay service which had reasonable prices and no service fee, highly recommend. We felt safe walking around FiDi day and night. Before we arrived, I had to move the reservation dates around and the front desk employees made sure every change was done correctly.

The hotel looks wise is cool art deco building and rooms very large. Quiet and very convenient location However the cleaning is terrible. They do the beds and towels daily but that is it and won't sweep the floors. So as you can imagine a week long stay with young kids self catering apartment the floor was filthy. Raised this with front desk who said oh yeah that's not included in the room....surely this will attract vermin and insects! Bed linen was ripped too and upon arrival no sofa bed was made up as we booked for two adults two kids. Went down and they said you can do it yourself or can send someone up....not something you want to do after a long flight tbh. I wouldn't return here.

We did a family trip to NYC with our kids to check out the typical tourist sites for a week. Location of Mint House is great to walk lower Manhattan, or jump on a Subway. At check in, the desk the was incredibly helpful an welcoming. The unit was spacious, modern, and very clean. Daily refreshes provided linens and most consumables (including really good coffee from the third wave shop downstairs). There was a late party in the unit next to us one night, but the management dealt with it and made it right.

The Apt was immaculate, spacious and clean! Every bit of home without being in your actual house. Well equipped with all your basic needs, from robes to full kitchen sets, knives, dishes and 2 tea kettles. Definitely a must stay when Im in the city.

It’s always hard to decide if an Airbnb or an hotel when you’re traveling with kids. Airbnb are goods but you have to do the cleaning so oh never rest. Hotels are good but usually need to rent 2 rooms so it become more expensive. Mint house is an apartment, with kitchen and two spaces and they clean your room and offer room service as any other hotel. Defenderle the best place to stay with kids in New York. Location and everything was good too, with a metro literally in front of the hotel.

This hotel was absolutely perfect in every way. A warning...the bed is so comfortable that it is very difficult to leave it. I wish I could bring home the pillows. I was very surprised at the large space and absolutely every box was ticked as far as staying in a hotel in NYC. Perfection. I will happily return.

Overall an excellant place. Convenient to the Battery and Wall street. Convenient to boats to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Took the free ferry to Staten island and visited the Smithsonian American Indian in the old Custom house. 9/11 memorial is nearby
