We had 3 rooms booked for our family trip for my daughters birthday. Request a certain floor and got it and asked for a different room type and got it. Fantastic welcoming service in check in. We booked a junior suite and had access to the lounge which was very welcoming to get bottled water and other supplies. We stayed half board ( altho been told it’s stopping soon at the hotel ) and that was a godsend. To save having to go out looking for meals that people wanted to eat. Buffet in the morning and night was perfect. We had people in our party who had never stayed there before and they also loved it. The breakfast was amazing as usual and loved the mix of going into the main restaurant and quieter one to try different surroundings. The rooms are very clean and great they have shower gel in there for you. I love the gym there too. We will be back I’m sure. Love the place. If going for the first time here, don’t forget a kettle / tea making stuff and my advice would be to buy one in USA for the voltage out there cos the UK ones with adapter plug take ages to boil !!…

Lovely modern clean hotel. Great location. Breakfast was included and had a great selection to suit everyone’s taste. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard . Staff throughout the hotel were professional and helpful, especially concierge. We stayed here for 10 nights as a family of 5 and had a comfortable stay. We had a fantastic time in New York, my 2 grandchildren absolutely loved the sightseeing.

Very clean and modern hotel. Superb tourist location. Breakfast offering varied and plentiful - the 'grab and go' food was good quality and very reasonably priced (for NYC). Staff very helpful and professional. Would certainly use this hotel again.

The hotel is huge and well presented, the staff is always nice and welcoming, unfortunately there are a few things to say about the cleaning and the bedroom. The shower leaked and we have all the water outside the bathroom, the shower gel wasn’t replaced and we had to use the bar soap, they said that they replace the water every 2 days but never happened. The breakfast was good but I would expect more for an hotel like this one.

Myself and my husband had the most amazing Stay at the Rui Plaza, upon arrival up to departure we were greeted with the most friendly helpful and professional Staff. the Hotel itself was Spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delish and so efficiently run that we had no delays in waiting for our table. The hotel was lovely and clean and in a great location to explore all the sights. Was disappointed upon check in - there was 2 rooms on our booking - that each couple was asked to check in separately with different members of staff and therefore ended up 1 room on the 10th floor and 1 room on the 27th floor! Also one couple got given chocolates and the other couple received nothing - not even a smile - from the lady checking them in.

My flight got in late. The person who checked me in took awhile because Hotel Tonight? or he was new? Was hoping to sleep in until noon but was woken by constant drilling noise starting at 7am. This is not OK. This is from the 19th floor! Not sure if I can work from here. Thought I could ignore the noise. But not sure. Nice decor. But for the price paid, $665/night kind of disappointed in the pillows and lack of amenities (no qtips, makeup remover cotton)
