It was my second stay at the Hotel Wolcott and my boyfriend and I were very pleased again. We love to grab some Muffins and coffee in the morning in the lobby. The room was very nice and new furnished on an upper floor. I also once stayed in the Belvedere which also nice, but much more expensive. I would...

We have stayed at this hotel 6 or 7 times over the last few years and we have found it to be a great value. The rooms vary from smallish to two room suites depending on what they have available, some have interesting "character" however they have always been clean and functional. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful...

My wife and i recently stayed at the Wolcott hotel new york. This was our first visit to new york and the location was fantastic, just off 5th Ave. The hotel is a little dated but has character, the coffee and muffins in the morning are great, the reception were always helpful. We booked a junior suite and we were...

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon. We were given our room only to find it was a smoking room which we don't. The cleaners had tried to cover up the smell with air freshner which didn't work. All the enamel had started to fall away in the bath and it looked terrible. I asked if...

Hotel Wolcott is located just two streets from the Empire State Building. Historical, old building has few prons and cons. Room are really spacious with comfortable bed and television. There was a bathroom with a bath including all standard amenities. Talking about cons, there was a noise from other rooms and a noise of old pipes. There is a great,...

Was looking for low cost/great location hotel in Manhattan and I got it with the Wolcott. Yes the rooms are small (it's New York, get out of your hotel room and see the city!) and they don't have many amenities but the location is amazing for people that want to be in the heart of the city. I found it...

The room was relatively clean with the charm of an urgently necessity of reconstruction (the bathroom e.g.). No free Wi-Fi (mostly standard in 3-5 star hotels all over the world) but a too expensive for the in-house offer. Having Breakfast was a hostel-stile (a cup of coffee in a paper cup, one or two cupcakes and for elderly people no...

Free coffee and Muffins in the morning but i advise a trip to Andrews coffee shop near times square for breakfast its great. The room we had...

This hotel has history. So that means it's older then the new modern boutique hotels popping up all over NY. Overall the hotel is quiet and I got the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. I was attending a trade show so the price was a great deal. They have coffee and rolls in the morning or...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
