I've stayed in many different hotels in midtown over the years and nothing has come close to the Kimberly in terms of class, ambiance, cleanliness, comfort, space, location, and value for the money. It is an "all suite' hotel and my one bedroom "room" was larger than my first and second apartments. It is incredibly spacious with a full kitchen,...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for this very detailed review. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope that you will come back again soon. The hotel does have some ways of including internet in your room rate, so we hope you will take advantage of that next time. We look forward to your...

Bath tub/shower stall was extremely slippery and no bathmat available. Bed was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. Heat in bedroom and living room could not be controlled by the thermostat and would either be off and cold or an enormous outpouring of heat that could not be controlled (even when the engineer was called several times). Twice the heat stopped totally...

Like coming home staff fantastic, rooms great cannot ask for more. A wonderful location with plenty of food around and walkable to anywhere in the city. And for kids an amazing salt fish tank plus a great rooftop bar

I liked the comfy bed and the charm of books in the room and inlay in the desk. Location was perfect for my business trip. Power outlets could be updated and the desk could be a bit more functional to work at. Also, the AC was leaking and made a wet spot in the corner of the room.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We are happy that you liked your bed and the furnishings and we sincerely apologize for the leak. We have installed new power outlets at desk level in all our rooms, so I would love to get some additional feedback from you on this suggestion. Thank you for having stayed...

Returned recently from a 3-night stay at the Kimberly Hotel. Rooms are very spacious, especially for New York, and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. A fun roof top bar offers up a great place to grab drinks before or after a night out. Be warned though...a massive residential tower is currently under construction directly across the street....

Dear Guest, Thank you for having chosen to stay with us and for taking the time to write a review. We do have a building going up across from us. That seems to be happening all over NYC as the city continues to grow. Although we do get noise from time to time, it is not usually constant, though we...

the hotel is located between Lexington avenue and 3rd avenue, only few minutes walking from Time Square. the rooms and suites are amazing, you can get a suite for less than 500$ per night, And don't forget the breakfast is served in the Rooftop, with a great buffet and Chef who will make your eggs on your personal style

Nice ambiance, friendly service, spacious well appointed room. I didn't like the extra $5 they wanted for wifi, on top of a $400 room, no place gets more than 4* with that type of nickel & diming. Nice gym, which we used every day.

Just stayed here for a 3-day business trip and was amazed at the size of my suite for less than what my company pays for a small room around the corner. Staff learned my name from the first day and everyone seemed legitimately happy to have me there. Major construction site across the street (nothing to do with the hotel)...

I've had the pleasure of staying at the Kimberly several times of the past 20 years, and it keeps getting better and better. Not only are the rooms comfortable and well appointed, but they added a rooftop bar which is great for pre or after dinner drinks and two wonderful restaurants, Bistango and Empire Steak House. We like the fact...

Just spent a couple of days at the Kimberly. Had a suite with a separate bedroom. Quite large and perfect if you have a teenager who can sleep on the couch. Service was great... location convenient. My only complaint was the noise late at night with the trash and recycling trucks coming around for pick up.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
