Great one night stay at The Kimberly. One of the worst days to travel, snow and freezing rain, and they took care of the car and ensured we were checked in two hours early and even upgraded our room to a suite. The rooms have everything you could possibly need for a stay in the city, bathrobes, umbrellas, a massive...

Stayed here two different times in January. Excellent Staff, Big Rooms, Good Price & Great Location. They had valet parking but park across the street & get a coupon from the desk for $28 for 24 hourst. Great rooftop bar with very a view & good appetizers. They were doing facade work while we were there but didn't interfere with...

Stayed here in January on the recommendation of a friend. This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. We arrived in the city a little earlier than check in time, and was told our room was ready and we were upgraded to a suite! The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very quiet. I couldn't find a thing wrong with this...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights for my birthday and we had a very enjoyable (though not perfect) stay. The staff were pleasant at check in and friendly for the rest of the stay if not overly effusive. The lobby was a bit strange and there was a lot of construction going on - but there was...

We love this hotel. Terrific staff, views, easy walking. A range of restaurants in the area made choosing easy at meal times. Loved the tapas in the upstairs bar on a very chilly evening as well. We'll be back.

After reading plenty of reviews on the Kimberly before we went I was really excited about our stay there, but have to say I was a bit let down by what I saw there myself during our stay. Firstly, the hotel is in a good location with Rockerfella, Times Square and Grand Central Terminal and other subway stops all within...

I stayed here twice in 2013: june and october. Guess where I will stay during my next trip to NYC... Location is great, staff is helpful, roof is gorgeus, rooms are huge and comfortable. Book the one bedroom suite. Downstairs restaurant is trendy and cool crowd. I can't wait to be back!

We had actually booked at the Waldorf round the corner and then saw the prices here at The Kimberley so changed our booking. The two double bedded one bedroom suite was really a very good size. Looked as if it has been refreshed quite recently, two good sized TV's, excellent kitchenette complete with dish washer!. Bathroom good but a touch...

My friend and I stayed three nights at the Kimberly in January, and really enjoyed our visit. The hotel is not huge, which to us was a bonus. The rate was very reasonable for New York, so we were so pleasantly surprised that everything met or exceeded our expectations. The checkin was very courteous, they even let us right in...

It is one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in. I was in the one bedroom suite and both the sitting area and bedroom were much larger than I expected (especially for N.Y.). I stayed with my husband and two teenagers, there was more than enough room. The rooms were extremely clean, I don't have one complaint. The hotel...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Kimberly is a traditionally styled, boutique suite hotel located between 3rd & Lexington Avenues. With 30 rooms and 162 suites ranging from 266 to 935 sq ft., we offer personalized service from a warm and caring staff. Most of our suites have balconies, a rarity in NYC and many offer views of the city. Our mattresses are covered with feather beds and decked with Frette linens, which earn comments such as "I didn't want to get up" from our guests. A bonus here, is that in addition to our on-site fitness center, work-out enthusiasts can use any of the NY Heatlth and Racquet Club's 9 locations, including pools and work-out classes at no additional cost and can enjoy a cruise for three hours on their 75 ft yacht (in season) for a fee of $30 which includes a light buffet supper. ... more   less
