The location is good - a couple of minutes from the nearest subway, a stroll from Central Park. Very good mini supermarket opposite. Very handy to have a laundry room - quite expensive to use. The rooms (we had two suites) are tired, in dire need of repair - our sofa's arms were threadbare and the cushions were paper thin....

My mom and I stayed here for a few nights for funerals. We enjoyed the experience, and it was comfortable and very convenient to where we needed to be. The café next door had good food, there was shopping up and down the street, and the hotel was very festive for the holidays. They started decorating the last few days...

I usually never stay at a hotel in Manhattan because even the more expensive ones tend to have cramped rooms and a dingy feel to them. No so with Hotel Beacon. I stayed in a room with a king sized bed and it had a clean, modern feel to it. I wouldn't call it spacious but it is very comfortable....

Had the pleasure of staying at this gem of a hotel for a recent business trip to New York. I stayed in a twin share suite and was generally impressed with the overall size of the suite and room. Our kitchenette and bathroom were quite small however that is to be expected when staying in the heart of Manhattan residences...

What started out as a trip to experience the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting, ended up being one of the most Magical trips ever taken....starting with our Beacon Hotel corner suite! The views from our Upper West Side 24th floor suite were breath taking. Very beautifully designed and decorated....nicely furnished with full size fridge, gas stove/oven, microwave, keurig coffee maker and...

Just a shame about the idiots outside last night cheering at Mariah Carey. If only I could turn a hose on them! In all the years of coming here it's a shame that this year we have had the worst located room. I cannot recommend room 403 as it's directly above the goods entrance.

We just got back from a 5 night stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it. We had a suite with kingsize bed and it was almost home away from home! Great bed and a lot of space. A friendly doorman who was really helpfull with arranging a shuttle back to the Airport. Great cleaning ladies, they asked us...

We stayed in November 2016 as part of my birthday trip. I would definitely stay again, hotel is in a great location, rooms are nice and clean with a small kitchen which was handy as we could prepare our own meals. The hotel staff also surprised me with a bottle of red wine for my birthday which was a lovely...

This was our first trip to New York and our experience was definitely enhanced by staying at such a wonderful establishment as the Hotel Beacon. We stayed for eight nights in room 2512 which was a corner king room on the top floor so the views down Broadway and across to Central Park were just amazing. Facilities were excellent with...
