Very good and great hotel, clean, rooms are big compared to what I know from NYC. The rooms are self contained allowing occupants to cook in their rooms. The personnel is friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel for NYC visitors.

What a great hotel. We had never visited New York before so were unsure of the best location to stay. We chose the Beacon because it was central and were so glad we did. Situated close to the subway and just a stroll from Central Park it was ideal. The room was so comfortable and beautifully clean as well as...

Amazing option for a family with children or adults. We were six and were more than well accommodated. Always attentive and kind, we received nice treatment and assistance whenever needed. Surely a place to go!

The hotel is in a great neighborhood on the upper West side, near great restaurants, shops and the subway. The hotel is clean and modern. Surprisingly, we were given an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite upon check in. This gave us a large bedroom with a king bed and a separate living area with a pull out couch and...

We went to NYC for a young cousin's graduation from Barnard, so we wanted to be close to her there. The Beacon Hotel has no restaurant or room service, but does have a bar with appetizers that opens at 3:00 and there is a place right next door for a decent breakfast. There was only French Roast or Decaf coffee...

This hotel is a jewel ! Located in the quiet neighborhood of the Upper Westside, just a short walk to the subway. We loved the Terrace Suite, to which we have been upgraded. It is a two room suite with a kitchen and a huge roof-terrace. Everything is nicely appointed and the service is excellent. We can highly recommend this...

A lovely hotel on the Upper West Side of New York. The neighbourhood is more relaxed and prettier than midtown. There is a subway station a few blocks away that whisks you right into the rest of Manhattan. The room clean and HUGE! the bed was a super king size and there was still plenty of space for chairs and...

I found it better than expected, booked it on advise from travel agent who uses it on every visit to New York. A little old but very clean and the kitchenette a huge plus. Market across the street subway half a block. The windows open a little my favourite thing!
