Lovely rooms, every attention to detail to make your stay comfortable. We ate breakfast in the adjoining Viande Diner. Good Choice, near 72nd Subway, lots of nearby food places. A Good base for our three night stay in NYC.

I am often in New York on business and enjoy trying new hotels for a night. I never stay on the upper West Side so this was a new experience. The Beacon has a prime location on Broadway in a great neighborhood full of fine restaurants, wonderful delicatessens, and a nearby subway station. With New York hotel prices climbing into...

We chose this hotel so we could experience a quieter quarter of New York and we're not disappointed. We love to walk cities and were happy to be able to walk anywhere up town and mid town. Helpful staff and comfy bed. LAUNDRY was wonderful to have. Nice bar attached to the hotel as well as traditional diner next door....

My family of 4 has just spent 5 nights at the Hotel Beacon. We shared a 1 Bedroom corner suite which was the perfect size for us. We used the fold out sofa to give us more room. The kitchenette is perfect for dining in as we did on one evening or just for breakfast & making a cuppa. The...

Pros: love this area of Manhattan, friendly and helpful staff, clean (dated) rooms, price was reasonable Cons: very uncomfortable beds, old furniture, broken bed couch which needs replaced I would not stay here again and I would not recommend to a friend. When we checked in our room was not available so they tried to put us in a smaller...

The location was perfect for us. We were three blocks from Central Park, one block from the subway, and there was a big grocery store across the street. We were tempted to stay in the Times Square area, but glad we didn't due to the noise and congestion. The Beacon was quiet, we always felt safe, the kitchenette was great...

Having a family and travelling so far from home, The Beacon for us was our home away from home. The staff where so friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was just perfect for our needs. Being close to Central Park was such a highlight and great restaurants too! The local subway station was such an easy walk and helped...
