Spent a night here after three excruciating nights in a hostel. Felt like a huge breath of fresh air! The check-in process was quick and efficient. I got there early but they were ready to give me a room right away. The room was clean, spacious and well-maintained. Concierge was helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast in the restaurant was ok. The...

Overall I really enjoyed my stay. When we first arrived the front desk was very friendly and answered all of the questions we had. The rooms had a nice size tv and we actually had a view unlike the other hotels we stayed in during our previous trips to the city. They also had free hbo which was really nice....

We just spent three days in Manhattan with our two teenaged daughters right before Christmas. We chose this hotel based on the reviews and the price, which couldn't be beat...we got a room with two queen beds for $110 a night. Great location...walking distance to Central Park, Fifth Avenue and Times Square. We had a corner room on the 7th...

We were nicely surprised with this hotel, considering it is a little tired on the decor. When you are out and about for the most part of your day, its a good place to come back to. We didn't eat at the hotel, but the bar area was pleasant and friendly and the hotel had a nice buzz. We would...

We had heard bad things about this property and were prepared but we were delightfully surprised at how good it was. Rooms were super clean and fresh, maid staff very accommodating. Quiet location only two blocks from major traffic. On a bus line and a short walk from Lincoln Center and Columbus Circle. Plenty of neighborhood cafes and two markets....

I gave this hotel a very good rating because of the combination of cleanliness, room size and location. Other reviewers have pointed out the hotel needs a face lift - and it's going to get one over 2013-2014. But, you don't need to wait to stay there until after the makeover is complete. This hotel has huge rooms (for New...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
