I have spent 8 nights in this hotel and I can tell everyone it’s was a pleasant surprise. Very affordable comparing to others in NYC. Comfortable room, silent, spacious, very clean. Much more than I could expect. I certainly recommend.
If you are looking for a budget-friendly hotel with great location, this is for you. This is my third time staying here. This is an old hotel so if your looking for fancy, with all the bells and whistles, stay elsewhere. The rooms are large,...More
I got a superb online last minute deal for this hotel. This is an old hotel right near Central Park midtown area. The best part that I liked were the large rooms, hard to come by in budget lodging in central Manhattan. The room had...More
I checked-in and literally walked out after 10 minutes. Was charged for the night anyhow, despite showing the toilet was dirty and explaining that the place was just dirty.
This hotel is stock in the 1960s. In a bad way.

We booked very last min and as a result we got a great deal, which we did take into account with the hotel. The staff were polite and friendly, however the room we staying in desperately needs updating, and had an overall feel of grubbiness....More

United States > New York > New York City > Midtown / Manhattan
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Hi - I don't remember specifically; however, I do know it was a charge we did not feel was justified and therefore, we did not use our wifi at the hotel. It was in teh $20-$25 range and it was a PER DEVICE charge, not per room. We went to a Starbucks close by when we needed it. We have 4 children, 2 of whom are teenagers and they LOVE their wifi, however, they did not complain about this once, probably because we were out so much. If I were traveling for business and had work to do, this might be a concern for me. For us, it wasn't an issue. Hope that helps.
