I made a reservation at the Cosmopolitan Hotel- Tribeca so that my daughter and I could get together for a fun evening. It was a really good choice! Great location and although they are still doing renovations the rooms that are completed are lovely. The beds are comfy, the shower is wonderful and the bath linens are plush. The staff...

For my 40th birthday I went with my spouse, my parents and my uncle to New York. As it was our first time here we wanted to see a lot of landmarks, and we wanted a clean and nice hotel. Rather quickly we understood that a hotel on Times Square was not within our budget, but we still wanted to...

This hotel is extremely well-furnished, and a great value for this area. The small single room I booked turned out to be better than advertised. Very small, as I expected, but with all of the amenities and a very nicely done (private) bathroom. The staff was very helpful, especially with taking care of parking my car and helping with my...

This boutique hotel was a real find as far as value and location in TriBeCa. The king room was a decent size with a small but very nice bathroom. The rainhead shower, nice bathrobe and great towels added to my enjoy my stay. Location allows you to walk to places and surrounded by coffee places and restaurant. The staff at...

It was a very well located hotel in the middle of the Manhattan. There was a subway station just in front of the hotel. The room was very well furnished and clean but a little bit small. The staff was really friendly. I can consider to stay in here again if I ever go to New York again.

Cosmo Hotel Tribeca was situated in a Great Location. The Chambers St Station is literally right outside the front door. The staff is very friendly, the common areas are clean, and the rooms are very clean. Will come back again for sure.

The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Tribeca is great value for NYC. The newly renovated rooms and washrooms are comfortable, clean and modern. The metro is just around the corner and there are many coffee shops and bagel shops nearby.

I have stayed here before, we liked it so much we decided to stay again. This time the mattress and pillows where changed. The mattress and pillows were unusually hard. What really infuriated us was we were not warned about the insanely loud construction going on at 8:00 AM Saturday morning. Since we stayed out a bit late Friday night,...

Perfect location for us in Tribeca. Walking distance to family and all Tribeca has to offer. Great restaurants and shopping. Subway practically at doorstep. Only problem was the elevator wasn't working well.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
