The rooms are tiny (even by NY standards), not well appointed or decorated, equipment doesn't work - like the A/C and power outlets - and the single pane windows offer no protection from the cacophony of street noise that is constant because its location means there's a permanent traffic jam outside. They claim 24-hour security but it's non-existent so we...

The hotel is located in an excellent location. Lobby was nice, rooms are a bit small but we were barely in the room to care much. Overall excellent hotel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Book now! Great value for the money.

The decor in the lobby is very nice as is the restaurant Maple attached to the hotel. We checked-in early and dropped our bags as the room wasn't ready yet. When we came back later to get the room, we had to do the entire check-in process again. This included checking ID, swiping my credit card again and signing all...

When we had made reservations, we had indicated that we were there as a birthday celebration. Upon check-in, the Night Hotel staff had left a bottle of wine and a very nice note. This was the highlight of our stay with Night and was fantastic. The lobby is beautiful (one bulb out in the center large ceiling fixture - large...

The location is very convenient and compared to other hotels in the area, it is very affordable. The room is pretty small and the hotel itself is pretty old. The elevator takes forever and it fits only 4 people.

So after reading reviews I really didn't know what to make before we stayed here. The hotel is small, the rooms again pretty small but if you are out all day then to us it didn't really matter. The beds were comfy. I wouldn't pay extra for a city view room, it just meant you don't look into the centre...

Very loud, window hardly blocked the street noise. Listened to horns honking all night. Bed was very firm. Great location, right in the middle of times square. Shopping and bus locations are within walking distance.

Room was tiny, no room too move, claustrophobic, warm but couldn't have fan on because of the noise, lifts took ages, gym wasn't on site, breakfast was poor, facilities not as described e.g. No hairdryer, robes, lack of sockets, no bottled water, staff wouldn't not acknowledge problems

At the outset, please allow me to sincerely and profoundly apologize for your less than favorable experience with us. This is not who we are as we continually aspire to meet rather exceed our guest's service expectations. I wish we were informed of these shortcomings while you were in residence, so we could have addressed them promptly. May I humbly...

The hotel it self and the service upon arrival wonderful. The room it self was way to little for two ppl but something manageable. My disappointment was when I checked out the guy was extremely rude just because I did not understand the checkout process. My card had already been debited for the parking and room. So I thought I...

I am extremely disappointed to hear of your experience. Reviews on our service have been overwhelmingly positive and I am troubled to hear that your experience was not a good one. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you and re-assure you of our best intention at all times. Sincerely, Gautam

Recently stayed here for a quick work trip. The room was clean, bed was comfy. We were on the 4th floor and didn't notice any outside noise that was out of the ordinary. Patrick at the front desk was great both at check in and check out, and for recommending something less touristy for us to do for the evening....

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
