We enjoy staying at the Iroquois. Its close to Broadway and across the street from our regular parking garage. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a nice size for a mid-town hotel. We also enjoy sitting in the Library and relaxing.

Our annual trip to NYC was one of the best ever this year because of the staff at the Iroquois. Every request or need was met with a smile and followed through on expeditiously. We traveled by cab frequently and the door people were wonderful at getting the appropriate cab for our travels. Likewise with the maid service. Tremendous. Our...

This hotel should not be in the SLH catalogue. After check in we were simply pointed to the lifts to get to our room, there was no help offered with our luggage. The first evening we went into the bar and the barmaid was too busy complaining to another customer about her lack of a pay rise or bonus "I'm...

This review is based on a single night's stay, traveling for business. Picked it for the low corporate rate, proximity to the office I was visiting and TripAdvisor reviews. Small room had two double beds (as a practical matter, really only big enough for one person), a rolling office chair in front of the small table between the beds, and...

We stayed at the Iroquois for 6 nights for a honeymoon break to NYC. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and always willing to help you or solves any issues you may have. It is located between 5th and 6th Avenue so is perfectly located as a sightseeing base with the 42nd St Subway stop about 5 mins walk...

I have stayed at this quaint hotel at least once a year for the last five years. Small but adequate rooms are clean and nicely designed. My only complaint is the temperature is never quite right but most hotels struggle with temperature. The staff is by far the best I've encountered in NYC. Always helpful, pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. Feels...

With a caveat. We were there in August 2014 when we were visiting law schools with my son and took advantage of the hotel's multi-night discount. Buyer beware. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
