Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and three teenagers. Was good value for money. Greta location and the breakfast was good. Would stay there again.Friendly helpful staff - My husband accidentally left a shirt in the wardrobe and they found it and put it aside for us.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Chelsea for 2 nights in February. We were delayed arriving due to blizzards and I called from LA to let them know. There were absolutely no problems with our late arrival (midnight) and our room was ready. We had a family room which suited us and our teenagers perfectly. The location was great. Close...

My wife and I stayed here for one night in early June, 2011. I had been sent to NYC on a business trip, and my wife came along and we stayed an extra night on our own dime. We didn't want to spend $600 or more to spend another night at the New York Palace, so I searched for a...

My two sisters and I spent two nights here in one of the 3-twin bed rooms on the 10th floor (#1002). The room had a front facing view of the church across the street and various buildings, but not of Empire State Building. The room was very small and dated, but was clean and the twin beds were comfortable. We...

Stayed here alone last year. Was conveniently located for tourists, close to metro station and can walk to most attractions (even central park). Room was big enough for me, possible not had there been two people to the room. Clean, has a safe, free wi-fi connection. Breakfast was good, lots of variety, small dining area so can imagine it being...

I stayed at the Chelsea Comfort Inn for ten nights as part of a school trip, and was quite happily surprised at my surroundings, the hotel was clean and everything you would need in a hotel. I stayed in a room with five other girls and as you can imagine it became quite messy, nether the less the cleaners still...

Front desk staff was pleasant and check-in was fast and simple. The hotel is a typical NYC hotel and the lobby was clean and seemed well maintained. Our room was exactly as the pictures on the hotel’s website portrayed and the rooms were clean. The hotel is close to a subway station and we felt safe walking to and from...

Spent 1 day here, rooms are dirty, staff is rude, and beds have bed bugs. Don't stay here, you will regret it.

Stayed here for 5 nights in March and found the location excellent. Not too far away from the bus or train station for airport connections, and very central. The Flatiron building is just feet away and the Empire State building is well within walking distance. Time Square is just under 20 blocks away and only took about 15-20 minutes to...

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
