The NH Collection has been open approximately 18 months after a refurbishment. So the lobby and bar are nicely done (This was a visit in low season (early February) so not really able to comment on the atmosphere when it is busier) The location is good, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a junior suite so it was relatively spacious for NYC. Note that the suite had a sofa rather than a desk, if you are hoping to work, And the TV is in the bedroom rather than the lounge area where the sofa is. The main reason for dropping a couple of stars is that there is no restaurant (yet), and hence no room service either. I believe the restaurant is nearing completion, and will be happy to revise this upwards after a subsequent stay.

The hotel is beautiful, the lobby is big and very comfortable, staff very friendly and extremely helpful, especially ms. Dimitra at the Concierge. Everything is spotless clean, rooms big and spotless, great location (10 mins from Times Square and from 34th st and Broadway). I will definitely come back to stay here!!!!!

The hotel room was spacious as far as hotel rooms in New York go. The decor was very modern and kept very clean. The hotel location was perfect, we were within walking distance of the main attractions and close to the metro station. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant, particular the doorman who helped us get a taxi to the airport. Good quality umbrellas were provided for guests to use which was brilliant We did have a sewage problem in our room, however cleaning staff resolved this promptly. The hotel also had no restaurant but offered juice and croissants in the morning. Overall we thought the hotel was good quality for money and we would return again.

I just loved this hotel. Great location, really fun and spacious lobby area, gym is well equipped, breakfast excellent, staff are so helpful and professional. The rooms are well fitted, air condition is modern and easy to operate. Espresso machine in the room. This will be my NY hotel from now on.

The service and my stay at the NH hotel was beyond excellent, I wish I could give it 5 stars The staff made me feel like a VIP from the time I stepped into the hotel. I want to say a big personal thanks to Kiara who worked at the reception, kiara was patient and considerate and was a welcoming sight each morning, Kiera always had a smile on her face, kiara would be a great customer service manager. Dimitria the guest relations manager was amazing her knowledge and friendly disposition made her unique, I really enjoyed talking to her, and I thank her for her lovely departing gift. Denise the bar manager was extremely friendly and kind and very generous with her time. Louis the sales manager was engaging and thoughtful and really wanted all their guests to feel special, their professionalism, kindness and service was second to none, and not forgetting all the other amazing staff working there. My room was beautiful and I had the best sleep for a long time Breakfast was vast and worth the money and nothing was too much for them. I love this location, such an amazing stay! Great staff super friendly and helpful!! The room was spacious and clean! Mid century modern decor great for photos. I also had the pleasure of dining at the breakfast buffet, the price was incredible and the breakfast options were plentiful! I love the setup everything was clean, fresh and delicious! I would say my favorite was the tiramisu; I also enjoyed the fresh brioche mini buns with pesto, tomato and mozzarella. The dining staff was attentive and welcoming! I love this location what a gem!!!

I booked a stay in January 2023 at the NH Collection NY Madison Avenue because I was traveling to NY from Colorado for medical treatment. I am working with a specialist in NY and was scheduled for a procedure. However, due to unforeseen changing medical circumstances, my procedure had to be postponed and will be rescheduled for either a week or month from the original date. My doctor wrote a letter to the NH Collection asking them to either cancel my reservation or credit my account for a future booking, but the NH Collection's Reservation department was completely uncaring and inflexible. I was charged for the full stay regardless of my changing medical circumstances and inability to travel for the original booking. If the hotel had been compassionate and understanding, allowing me to at least change and re-book my reservation and even pay the change in fare (like an airline), I would have been a loyal customer and brand advocate. This experience has deterred me from any NH Collection hotel stay in the future. If you might have any changes to your travel plans, even if they are related to medical issues, DO NOT BOOK with NH Collection.…

I went to NY before Christmas with my husband and 4 year old son. I looked at many hotels, booked one but last minute I changed my mind and cancel and booked NH Collection, and I definitely do not regret it! It is a very chic and new hotel, well located. My favorite thing about the hotel was the lobby. It is very well decorated, good quality decor and A LOT OF SPACE. This is very important when you travel with a kid who can't sit still. It would have been impossible for us to find nice bars to go to and have a drink in peace with our son, but here at the hotel after a long day of walking around NE we would come and relax on a couch with a drink or two and our son would have enough space to play and be happy. Again, I want to mention that the bar area is very nice and fancy, you feel like you are "out" and it was gorgeously decorated for Christmas. I would definitely recommend it and I would go back. And the bar is a proper bar ;)…
