Stayed here 2 nights to burn up some Marriott points before moving to the Waldrof Astoria which is literally across the road. The rooms are great. Don't like the bar much because it feels too much like you are sitting in the lobby. I have stayed here twice but never had a single meal here. You are spoilt for choice...

The Hotel and Rooms feel a little bit tired but the beds are very nice and apart from a reading light and a drawer everything seemed to work properly. Our room was on 49th street and that can be a noisy, but nothing compared to the aircon which makes a lot of noise! It works, but I could not imagine...

We were in part of the hotel that wasn't redone and you could tell it was due for updates, but the room was large by NYC standards and adequate. The bed was very soft. It was nice that the club lounge had water, tea, and other beverages and light snacks available, and the gym on the top floor was just...

Full disclosure: I have never been a big fan of Marriott’s beige-bland big box business hotel emphasis. Stripped of character, it can feel like sleeping inside a cardboard box. This is an older renovated hotel, and Marriott, thankfully, has been unable to strip it of all character. Really good location, and the rooms are comfortable, in a three and a...

I stayed here with my adult daughter for a fun weekend. It was in a good location for our activities. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was very comfortable, spotless, comfortable bed, great shower, small refrigerator, coffee maker in the room. If you are an 'Elite' member (repeat client rewards program) they provide free internet and a...

Sondra stayed here two nights while visiting her grandson graduating from NYU. My room was just the right size for one person. I had a VERY COMFORTABLE king size bed with premium white sheets and down comforter....which was needed during the cold two days I stayed. The location is great for visiting NYU and a Broadway show. There are several...

Although a Marriott Elite member, this is the first time I have stayed in this hotel. Being NY I was expecting an expensive but slightly tired hotel and I wasn't disappointed. The building is historic which is great however this makes the maze of rooms complicated and my rooms was very small and bathroom tiny with a small window looking...

Hotel is nicely appointed, many room amenities including a mini refrigerator and awesome brand of coffee for use in single cup coffee maker. The location has great access to restaurants, shops, Grand Central Station and Times Square is just a short walk.

The hotel is comfortable, but needs some upgrades compared to the other hotels close by in a similar category. The rooms are okay, the bathroom is very small, but not unusual in NYC. The A/C / Heater was very old and that dirty that you don't really wanted to use it. But the staff is very helpful and tries to...

Overnight stop. Comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with good amenities though not large in size, more than adequate. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
