My husband had to be in Manhattan for business and booked Marriott Downtown near One World Trade Center and walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants. The staff and management were so nice and our room was very clean. I recommend staying at this hotel!

Great location relative to office and lovely staff, but no robes or slippers, no room service and a budget hotel quality in-room coffee service left me feeling like I was in a very low-cost hotel, not a Marriott. Next time, I'll bring my own flip flops. On the plus side, great gym.

Dear KPG33, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I am very dishearten to read about your experience. We provide robes and slippers upon request. The New York Marriott Downtown is always looking to evolve. We noticed that many of our guests have preferred to order from delivery services instead of using traditional room service. We decide...

I like this hotel. They are friendly, it is in a great location, it has a decent but not great burger place downstairs. The problem remains to be the Club Lounge on the 38th floor and the elevators. The club lounge is WAY to small for the number of people trying to use it for breakfast. The set up is...

Dear Cindy K, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We always appreciate hearing from our guests and value their input. I understand how frustrating your experience must have been. We are always looking for ways to improve. In the concierge lounge we have added 2 coffee urns. We will continue to look for ways to improve...

We really loved the New York Marriott Downtown!!!! We had a corner Junior Suite on the 24th floor with beautiful views of the Hudson River. The room was spotless!!! We had stayed at the Ritz Carlton down the street, but we liked the Marriott so much better. We will definitely go back. The Freedom Tower and 9/11 memorial are a...

During our recent visit to NYC, we stayed at the Marriott. Nice hotel but a bit expensive. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Good location within walking distance of a lot of attractions (ie: 9/11 Memorial, Battery Park Ciry, Wall St, restaurants etc) if you don't mind walking. The train stations are also within walking distance. There was...

I recently stayed at this hotel for business. The room itself is extremely dated and the AC didn't work properly. I am a gold member and was given a room with two double beds even though I had requested a king. On the plus side, it is a great location if you're looking to stay in battery park close to...

Dear AMJ222, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I am delighted to read that you enjoyed our Concierge Lounge. We have some magnificent views! Our Lounge Attendants work very hard and appreciate your kind words. I understand your frustration with the AC and I am having my engineering department look into that. I hope that you...

The hotel was built before manhattan hotel rooms became smaller in size. This hotel has decent sized rooms. Our room was clean with a very comfortable bed and forceful shower. The service was as expected at a full- service Marriott. Our only complaint -- they rely on a burger restaurant downstairs for on- site dining. The place as overpriced, noisy,...

My husband and I stayed here while visiting NYC over Labor Day weekend. The room was small (aren't they all in NYC?) but cozy. The staff was wonderful. The subway was a block from the property. Will put this on my favorites list!

Loved being in the Financial District because it was quiet. Our room, 2609 had an awesome view! We could see the Hudson River, New Jersey, Ellis Island, Brookfield Place,Freedom Tower, Battery Park and cruise ships. The 9/11 memorial was just next door. We loved Bill's West End Bar located in the lobby overlooking the street. It was a great place...

I loved this hotel down in the Financial District. Near the 9/11 memorial. Staff friendly. Room very roomy (considering it is new york) and hotel has great amenities. Also quiet. I strongly co spider 4 stars for 2 reasons. . The service at the bar was typical new youk gruff. Also the restaurant was more of a burglar bar menu...
