This is a good property in a great location - close enough but away from the noise of Manhattan. The staff of the property is excellent. Check-in was great, thanks to Adnan and Eric. Rooms are a decent size and well-equipped. The on-site 'Bill's Bar...More
We arrived at the hotel a few hours before check-in and they were able to get us rooms (3) with no hassle. The hotel is located right in the Financial District with lots to do during the day but keep in mind things aren't open...More
My sister, mom and I stayed at the New York Marriott Downtown over the Easter long weekend. We arrived late at night and the only room left had only one bed. They quickly brought a cot up and set it up in the room. It...More
Excellent Hotel, with a very friendly staff, located near many points of connection with the subway and the PATH, and a formidable view to the WTC, and a block away from the century 21 store, my wife loves it.

At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, the Financial District is where New York City began as a center of commerce. Today, the historic streets and beautiful setting are complemented by museums, countless skyscrapers, and the heart of the Financial District, home to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange. Catch the Staten Island Ferry for an unbeatable view of the skyline and Statue of Liberty, or sail to Ellis
Island to learn about the vital immigrant history of the city.

Taxi or Uber. I believe there is a fixed price set by the appropriate Transit Authority for Taxis - you will need to check the internet. I have departed to and from JFK airport. The price is a flat rate plus tolls. I have no idea of the price of public transport to and from La Guardia. I did use public transport from JFK many years ago when I was a student. It was very much the cheaper option but it was , relatively speaking , an even more arduous schlep than my transatlantic flight.
