Booked this Marriott because it was in the heart of Manhattan and close to the areas my family and I liked to visit, such as Times Square, Central Park, etc. We have stayed at many Marriott properties and are rewards members. In most cases we have had good or great experiences, this was no exception. We drove from Virginia Beach...

pros - nice views from the hotel, easy to take the Path into jersey, relaxed area on the weekends (in terms of people not security), right next to the new Tower for tours. Hotel is large, comfortable, and once yourself squared away pretty easy to find Cons- A little far from a lot of NY tourist areas, not the easiest...

I stayed at this Marriott during a last minute trip to New York and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was located next to the Freedom Tower and World Trade Center site. The riverfront was a short walk away. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with directions and restaurant reservations. The rooms were very spacious by New York standards. My room...

Though it takes a while to get a cab from this hotel on the weekends, if your travels keep you in the downtown area, then you'll be pleased with these comfortable accomodations. The breakfast was delicious and I was fortunate to have a waterfront view. Would definitely stay here again.

Well run hotel but overrun with 911 Memorial tourists trying to use the lobby to the extent they crowd out hotel guests. Very noisy burger joint only restaurant in hotel--not suitable for business meeting or reunion with family and friends. Staff was very nice and helpful but hotel management needs to do something so that hotel guests can enjoy a...

If you are looking for easy access to the Statue of Liberty, Staten Island Ferry and the World Trade Center, this is the hotel for you. The staff were very pleasant, but we were disappointed that neither the restaurant nor the bar were open during our stay, apparently due to Hurricane Sandy. There is a Starbucks open for coffee or...

When we checked in we were upgraded to a junior suite on the 38th floor. Stunning views of New York. Kevin at reception was extremely helpful and all the staff made us feel welcome and gave great advice re metro, places to eat and how to get around. Rooms were very clean and had everything that we needed. Great place...

Very nice and clean hotel. Very close to all downtown tourist spots. Very clean rooms and a very friendly and welcoming staff. We had a high floor and had great views of the downtown area. My only complaint would be the bed was a little saggy in the middle and probably needs to be changed out. Other then that the...

We spent 3 nights here at the end of June courtesy of Priceline and couldn't of been happier. The room was spacious and clean and the ideal place to return to for a quick recharge before heading out into the city. Our room overlooked the entrance of the 911 memorial and from the 26th floor we had an interesting if...
