Do not stay here if you don't like busy places. This is a modern hotel with allot of amenities but I don't think I would personally stay here again. The hotel itself is lovely on the inside, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were a good size however you have to pay for wifi in the room ($17 a...

1. Arrived in a limo with 4 bags, wife and two children. Bell hops were to busy talking to offer to help with bags. 2. If you were not part of the NBA all star game you were getting nothing in terms of service. 3. Concierge lounge is a joke. Guy behind desk on phone with his GF one night...

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at the New York Marriott Marquis! I am very sorry to hear that your stay with us did not live up to your expectations with us! This was a very busy weekend in the City with the NBA All Star Game and I apologize if our service faltered during this time. Your comments...

We recently stayed at the Marriott for our annual trip to New York. We had previously stayed at the Hilton which was horrible. The Marriott is wonderful. It is in a very convenient location, the staff is great and the rooms are impeccably clean (my number one criteria). The hotel would have received 5 stars from me except for two...

This is a very nice hotel we stayed here for four nights. Location is very handy just right on Broadway. During our stay the hotel was going through the refurb but it was will organised. We did not eat in the hotel so we can not comment. The staff are very helpful ,specially the porters.

I recommend staying at this hotel for the cleanliness, efficient staff and location. Efficient check-in and express check-out. Room was spotless and roomy! I did not expect either due to high volume and being in the heart of Times Square, well done! (recent comments on unclean rooms had my guard up, did not experience that). You cannot beat this location,...

We used to think of the Marquis as a convention hotel, built on the ruins of three to five--depending who's counting--Broadway theaters pulled down for the occasion. "We'd never stay there, Lovey!" we'd say. But on one weekend we finally did and--quelle surprise!--the place is a lot of fun and we'd stay there again. By proverbial New York standards, the...

The Marriott is located right in the heart of Times Square. It is a large and impressive modern hotel - being a Platinum Marriott member our room was upgraded which came with a nice view. If you want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Times Square- then this hotel is the one for you.

I used to stay here regularly about 10 years or so and just went back this week. As almost all the reviewers have said, you cannot beat the location. Just plain "awesome". This makes it hard to get to if you on a business trip as the place is crowded with tourists. You also need a lot of patience and...

Bustling, but organized and very well maintained. Plenty of elevators to handle the crowds. Room was comfortable and well appointed. We planned the trip to watch Elephant Man at the Booth Theater..right across the street. Close to good restaurants and bars.. For the money, cant miss.

This hotel has the greatest location! Right at heart of Times Square, in front of famous Times Square Ticket's booth and stairs. The hotel is gigantic! I believe they have close to or more than 2000 rooms. I totally recommend going to The View Restaurant as well. I have been to both the restaurant and the lounge. I prefer the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
