I love this hotel! Have just returned from my third stay and it just gets better! Concierge is always extremely busy, but they have always got time to look after their guests. Omar was especially helpful. The bell boys are fab, love the English accent and have time to laugh about English football. Food consistently good, both in the R...

The Renaissance New York Hotel Times Square is one of the more impressive hotels I've ever had the privilege of staying at. Located right in the center of all the chaos that is Times Square, the Renaissance offered a quiet, modern and laid back experience, almost giving off a "boutique" hotel vibe. Our connecting rooms on the 22 floor were...

Nice and clean hotel, big rooms and nice views to times square. if you want to stay near the mayor attractions this hotel its perfect. the only downside are the staff, not as welcoming as we expected and didn't receive any recommendation for the area attractions. Our stay was in December 27th.

Stayed at the Renaissance Times Square for 4 nights over the New Year period, pretty perfect place to watch the Times Square celebrations. As we arrived at the hotel, we were given our key to a room on the 15th floor, however when we entered, the beds were not made and it looked as if housekeeping were only half way...

Took my gf here for her 21st. Was epic! Well worth the price. The rooms are awesome! We had a view of the stock exchange building opposite. Made the room even more amazing. It was of an extremely high standard and very large! There was also a nifty little switch in the bathroom which let you listen to the tv...

I've stayed at this hotel regularly for several years. I do so because it's well located to my office and has reasonable Marriott style rooms. Unfortunately the service remains consistently unwhelming from the check in process, the "at your service" line not being answered, voicemail on room service during dinner time, cleaning staff arguing in hallways and staff that could...

We were in town for a concert and a play, and the location of the hotel was ideal. The room was modern, "roomy" for NYC, and we both found the bed very comfortable. The staff was courteous, and the concierge helped us inmensenly the only ocassion we sought his advise. Suggest a stop at the lounge before heading out or...

Can't imagine a better place to stay in NYC without getting a second mortgage on your house! The staff was great - the room was a decent size and clean - with Marriott's extra comfy beds! The "R" lounge has a spectacular view of Times Square. The "bar" food was exceptional! - That was a surprise!! The location is so...

The hotel is right in the middle of time square. Great location for shopping, going to broadway, proximity to subway and restaurants. Check in and out was smooth and efficient. Rooms are a good size for New York, comfortable bed. Slightly dated interior and minimal amenities in the bathroom. The bar has a great view looking over times square. This...

Very positive experience. clean, friendly staff and the view of Times Square from the bar is wonderful. Appropriately priced and the location is what it is ( Times Square ). I was almost scared off by the thought of staying in Times Square but glad I wasn't. I usually ask myself at the end of a stay whether or not if...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
