A wonderful place to stay if you want to be close to the hustle of Times Square. A bit noisy. Block out curtains for when you need to sleep and get away from the bright lights of Times Square. Close to all the major shops and restaurants. Rooms are very spacious and nothing beats a comfortable bed like those of...

If you need to be right in the middle of Times Square and don't mind fighting crowds of people every time you step out of the hotel, this hotel is in the perfect spot. It's convenient to theatres and right in the middle of all the action. While I don't care for the noise, the location was such that we...

Very nice hotel with a good location and wonderful view to Times Square from the upper lobby. Good service and comfortable rooms. A little pricey but what isn't in NYC? The breakfast was included in our rate and the selection was excellent. Nice bar service in the evening.

My wife and I were lucky to get tickets to see "Hamilton" on broadway and we decided to stay the night in Manhattan instead of driving home. The Renaissance was less than 2 blocks from the theater so it seemed to be the place to stay. Boy were we ever right! From our first encounter with the registration desk and...

The location of the hotel is fantastic. I booked this through Dream Trips, and I received an excellent rate which included daily breakfast. The employees were all very friendly and we were greeted each time we entered the hotel. The internet speed was great. I would definitely stay here again because I had such a pleasant experience.

We have stayed at this hotel many times before. We travel a lot and are platinum elite members so we stay at A LOT of Marriotts. First I will say this hotel does a nice job closing out the bustle of Times Square. The r lounge is great and the decor is fun. We noticed this time that there was...

We stayed two nights at the Renaissance Times Square as part of a family vacation to the City. We were really surprised by how big our room was. There were lots of outlets for phone charging, and the high speed wifi was excellent. The cable service to our TV wasn't working correctly our first night, and maintenance came up to...

We usually go to NYC in December to see Chris Botti at the Blue Note and to see a play. We decided to go right after Christmas this year and found the crowds to be overwhelming, particularly in Times Square. The hotel was ok- rooms r small with very little bathroom counter/storage space. I wouldn't stay here again because there...

I originally chose this hotel because of it's fantastic location, as a treat for my family. It is right in the heart of Times Square and within easy walking distance of many of the key attractions. However, my early enthusiasm was quickly extinguished with the very poor customer service - in the few days that we stayed there not a...

If I was rating this on location and front desk staff I would give 5 stars. Front desk was welcoming and very informative. You can't beat the location. It's right in the middle of Times Square, perfect for someone who isn't familiar with the area. Concierge was nice and very helpful. The room (1010) was disgusting. The bedding had hair,...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
