This hotel is in a great location. It's 10 minutes walk from the Empire State Building, 15 to 20 minutes walk from Times Square. We requested a quiet room with a view. We got a quiet room but the only view we had was other people's bedrooms!!! The roof terrace has great views of the Empire State Building.

Great place to stay. Walking distance to most anything. Everyone working at hotel was friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure of meeting Bibi who gave us useful advice on sightseeing. She also took pride in making sure we had what we needed in our room. We stayed in a suite and it was perfect. We had a view of... More

Great for a few days in the city. If you're looking for centrally located - this is a good location. Very convenient to transportation and local sites and restaurants. Hotel staff was accommodating and helpful. Room was larger than most hotel rooms we've had in NYC.

Just back from a four night stay with my daughter. Hotel is quietly located in midtown, a good location to be in, not too far from everywhere. Only a few blocks from the Empire State Building, Grand Central terminal and Times Square. Room 714 was clean, tidy and perfectly suitable for our needs, if a little tired in decoration. A... More

We really enjoyed our four night stay in this hotel. We were able to walk to most locations, and it was also close to Grand Central Station. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Every day they serve wine for an hour in the lobby and you get to meet other guests and just relax before going out.

Nice hotel, with very friendly staff. The restaurant was really good and the roof top bar had a great view of the empire state building (as its winter the roof top bar is closed but you can still go up there). There is free wine every evening at 5 which is a nice touch if you are there at 5.... More

Located between the Empire State Building and Grand Central Station (Lexington & 37th) this is a well located hotel. Very friendly welcome, excellent friendly service. Big shout out to Jean Benjamin the doorman!!! Rooms were big by NYC standards (although with view of a wall! But that didn't matter). The free wine in the lobby between 5-6 was a great... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 14th floor. We could see the empire state building. Amazing! Short walk to time square, maddison square garden and central station. But far enough out of the centre of these places so that it is quiet (as far as quiet gets in NYC) and you feel removed from the hustle and... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and found it perfect for our needs. Rooms were large and clean. Sure they had some tatty edges but it met our expectations. Staff at reception at the door and cleaners were friendly and helpful. Everyone made the effort. We actualky thought Scottys Diner down the street was good also. Much recommended from start... More

We'd have absolutely no hesitation in returning! The location is great (easy walking distance to Grand Central, Empire State etc), and within 5 minutes of the Subway. The room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfy- we slept so well every night. The staff were all very friendly and the complementary wine in the lobby from 5-6... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
