We've stayed here many times and it never disappoints! It's very comfortable we love the wine hour and location. Beds are sooooo comfortable! Rooms were made very comfortable each day. Nothing was a problem. Don't go past this hotel

We stayed here for five nights in one of the basic twin bedded guest rooms. We had a fridge in the room, which was useful, and a view of the Empire State Building. Clean and comfortable beds with crisp cotton sheets. Bath was not really a bath, being only about 8 inches deep, which was a shame as I could...

Spacious room, great location. Clean. Good service. Great internet. Watch out for the additional charged at check out. They charge you for the lobby snakcks ($10 per day) EVEN IF YOU DO NOT CONSUME THEM, and they also have additional "facilities" fees thatbare not included in the price when you book. Apart from thsr, you get a great hotel for...

I brought a group of 12 people for a UN meeting. The hotel was walkable distance and surrounded by restaurants and. 2 blocks from a large grocery and liquor stores. The rooms were large for NYC but the housekeeping could be improved. A dirty coffee cup was present in one room we checked into and another room had a roach....

I stayed here one night. It is walkable from either Penn Station or Grand Central. The folks at the desk are very helpful. My room was large and comfortable, and quiet. It is an older building, but not run down. Best of all, it is moderately priced for NYC.

I have stayed in many hotels in NYC but this hotel is one of the best. Lovely, spacious room with a great view of Empire State building. The front desk staff were knowledgeable and very pleasant and Eddie the doorman was so lovely, very helpful , taking time out to chat on many occasions. I loved the location of the...

We stayed here for a six night break. When we checked in we're told there was a guest happy hour at 5pm which was a welcomed surprise treat. The hotel is ideally centrally located, the staff were very informative and helpful, and the room had everything we needed. Shame we couldn't use the roof top bar due to the season.

Was very pleased with the Shelburne. Staff is super nice and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Arrived well before the 3 o'clock check-in -fortunately one of our rooms was ready, and they did not hesitate to let us check in early. That way we could go and explore the city and not worry about luggage! Would definitely stay...

This hotel is still great value for money in NYC. The location is fantastic, only a few block from both Grand Central Station and Chrysler Building, and a 10 min walk from Empire State Building. The rooftop views are spectacular of the Empire State, especially at night. The in-house restaurant, Rare Bar & Grill is also pretty good. The rooms...

I spent a couple of nights here on business. It was very conveniently located for the part of town I needed to be. Very cool and contemporary Lobby. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
