Loved this hotel! Gorgeous, opulent without being glitzy or ostentatious, very cozy and stately. Every amenity and luxury, superior service and the location is unbeatable to explore Soho and the West Village. Rooms were beautiful, wanted to steal the bedding

I requested a quiet room and was not disappointed. The hotel has an excellent asset: one side of the hotel faces a lot with no street or tall buildings, which means less traffic noise if your room is on that side, which mine was. As a result of this, and a super comfortable bed, I had consistently good nights' sleep.... More

Love love this hotel. Makes me smile as I approach. Everything is comfortable. The location is perfect. I could sit in the lounge for days on end. There's too much brown and nobody was there to call me a cab to the airport at 6am but I was v cosy in my room and a cab turned up after i... More

It is the perfect place to sit and work during the afternoon or simply people watch while planning your NYC holiday. This hotel is very well located between the Soho and Tribeca. I stayed there for three nights during a very cold November week. The staff was very nice, from the doormen to the front desk person to the bartenders. My room was small (normal by NY standards) but very well equipped, clean, comfortable and very quiet, so I really was... More

This has become quite an expensive hotel. It is also much busier than I remember. That said, I had deja vu on arrival. I had my case taken from me and was jet lagged, probably a bit grumpy and confused. However, i would rather take my case up the ramp, lift at the back, but had my case taken, walked... More

I just got off the phone with a man named Warren at the concierge desk. I called on my way in to make last minute appointments for hair and makeup for a business dinner tomorrow. It's been 10 minutes and I already have a text confirming he made my hair appointment. The conversation was delightful and his knowledge of the... More

First off it's very cool and the location is great with comfortable rooms - but they need to up their game for their guests. Staff don't always understand requests. i.e. a request for an extra face flannel delivered towels. Most annoyingly there was no priority for guests over visitors for space in the lounge or bar - we simply spent... More

High end boutique hotel in trendy SoHo, New York. Expensive, though not necessarily in NY terms, the location on West Broadway is ideal if you prefer the slightly quieter sophistication of Soho, with easy walking to TriBeCa, Chelsea and Greenwich Village as well as Little Italy and south Manhattan, to the rather more frenetic Midtown. Metro station at Canal Street... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
