rooms are big, Staff are very hospital. Location is excellent and in the heart of Manhattan. Would have loved to have free wifi at the room comparing to the room rate. Room service is a bit pricy. Toiletries could be improved. Bell captains are very friendly do not expect to have a late checkout the staff will not even try

We arrived at the hotel around 3am after more than 30 hours traveling from New Zealand, it was a welcome sight. Unfortunately the room we had booked was not available and we had a different room for our first night, we had contacted them prior to say we would not be arriving until that time. The next day the management...

Dear KiwiTourist45, Thank you for the wonderful comments about your stay with us. We often have a lot of international visitors that arrive late at night. We do our best to get them into their correct room, but it is a challenge. I am pleased that you were at least able to get into a room to get some rest...

Dear Teenatraveler, Thank you for the kinds words. I am glad you enjoyed our hotel and room. I have booked a petite room for an overnight stay. Paid 220 per nite, the room not very clean, the air conditioner was so noisy. I would never ever stay in this hotel again. They had a pretty cool lobby though, but the room rreally below average compared to the price paid. I have stayed varied hotel in NYC before,...

Wonderful service. Every staff member took time to smile, greet, and assist us with kindness and enthusiasm. Convenient location right across from Penn Station. Room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. We were upgraded to a suite which impressed me. They also sent cupcakes up to the room to welcome me and my two kids. Highly recommend Affinia! We had 2 rooms contacting - couple and 2 grown-daughters. Fine space. I asked for a quiet room, and it was - but no special view. Yes, small bathroom - but spent most of the time outside the hotel. I am a frequent visitor to NYC on business and generally prefer smaller, boutique style hotels. I chose the Affinia Manhattan for its location, just steps from Penn Station and a direct hike to the Javitz Center, where I was attending a convention. I was a little put off when I arrived by the construction in the lobby, but when...

I don't always travel to NYC, but when I do, I stay only at Affinia Manhattan. Seriously, if a room wasn't available at the Affinia Manhattan when I had scheduled business (or pleasure) in New York City, I would reschedule or cancel my trip. This hotel is my home away from home in NYC.
