Spent a week here in March. We are a family of four, two adults, a teenager and a kid. Fairly sized room, small kitchenette and a decent sized bathroom. Very good and easy to use WiFi. The room was clean and tidy. We had a great view over the Manhattan skyline. Many attractions are on a walking distance from the hotel, and several subwaystations are close for those who aren’t On the downside, no breakfast and a bit noisy, but very effective, air-conditioner

Pretty good hotel next to the Times Square. enough subway station around if needed and because it's in Hells Kitchen there were even more restaurants and bars! Bed was huuuuuge and comfi, bathroom clean. A little dated but the hotel lobby was nice. We didn't have breakfast and just went around the many bars to pick something up. We were on the 11th floor, view was acceptable (but we didn't expect much tbh). Some night were a bit noisy when people came back. Most sights we went to were in walking distance, the Rock, MOMA, Broadway and Empire.

If I could state this hotel’s greatest strength in one word, it would be ‘location’. It is located a walking distance from Central Park, Times Square, and most Broadway shows. We stayed in a room with two double beds which were comfortable. The bathroom was clean with ample hot water and mirrors. The room also had a microwave and small fridge just in case you bring home leftovers and want to heat them up the next day. The TV in our room did not work, nor did the phones. Because we planned to spend most of our time out seeing Manhattan, this was really not an issue. I am sure most rooms had functioning TVs. If they were like ours, they were a little dated and small so if relaxing with TV shows is a part of your vacation plans, maybe look elsewhere. The staff at both the front desk and front door were courteous and extremely helpful. We asked for extra towels and blankets which were both brought up immediately (I did need to go to the front desk to request due to the broken phones). The doorman also gave us great recommendations for restaurants. I know there are likely ‘nicer’ hotels around but none at this price point. For our needs: a clean and comfortable hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, at a reasonable price, and in a great location: this hotel is highly recommended.

Good place, it has a friendly vibe in the heart of theater district, 8th ave, we stumbled on good local places like kung fu kitchen on 8th right around the corner - great dim sum type dishes and noodles - and Moms Burgers on 9th, West End Grill on 8th. It was a good base. The A/c was necessary on a cool March weekend, it’s the kind that blows smoothly and we never used heat. I guess cumulative heat rises, we were on 12th floor, good view looking south. They do have morning coffee but with slowness of two crowded elevators, they need to rethink not having coffee in rooms -prob some kind of outlet or fire issue, or cleanup issue? There should be a way to figure out how guests can have hot coffee on demand in their rooms. We did not try the Brazilian steakhouse on ground floor. The beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff excellent. It’s a busy place, the staff keeps it running great. I would stay again

My best friend, and I were in the city for a show and booked for Belvedere for two nights. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our beds were extremely comfortable, and the room size was fabulous even outside of New York! We will definitely visit again thanks everyone for making it a great trip!

The location of this hotel could not be better! It's so close to everything but also not a crazy busy street either! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a $20 facility fee per day, and the hotel also holds $300 on check in however it is refunded on check out, minus the facility fee. The hotel is dated but the room was clean, we were on the 16th floor and had a decent view, there was some noise from the city so bring earplugs. It was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Toiletries were provided daily, on our final night the hotel had installed refillable toiletries which was great. Our room had a fridge and microwave, but no coffee or tea-making facilities. The blinds didn't completely cover our window so it wasn't completely dark to sleep. Overall a great stay and I would recommend this location and hotel.

We selected this hotel for the location. We were disappointed upon arrival when we learned, despite having confirmed our room earlier that day, that the room they had required that we move the next day. No one wants to have to change rooms in the middle of a hotel stay, so we were pretty upset. The first room they gave us was an executive room w/ two beds. It was so run down and lacked so many basic amenities: Nowhere to plug in a USB, no blackout shades, there was a beat-up old desk that looked like it was taken from the Goodwill reject pile, a closet with one of those awkward doors that made it so you couldn't really easily access things in the closet without navigating around the door, full-length mirror was in the bathroom so it fogged up after a shower and you couldn't really use it when getting dressed, a tiny bathroom counter and nowhere to put your toiletries, beds that felt kind of soft and thin, and awful pillows. They thankfully upgraded us to a superior room which is the same layout but way better appointed including: a bathroom counter, USB plugs, a full-length mirror in the room, a better closet, better beds, and a black-out curtain. The pillows still are horrible! Rooms have a kitchenette with zero cups or plates - it is just a fridge and a microwave and nothing else. The staff was nice enough. Two small elevators and almost impossible to use in the mornings during check-out time. One was broken for most of our stay.

Stayed in the Belvedere in November'22 with my mam and sister for 3 nights in the city. Check in was fast and efficient, with very friendly staff. We were told we had been upgraded, but i'm pretty sure the room was the same as we had originally booked. For NY, the room was a good size with two double beds (a little on the narrow side, but comfy). Nice bathroom with tub and shower. Plenty of sockets in the room as well as a little kitchenette with fridge. The hotel is in a excellent location and is minutes from Broadway, Times Square and the Rockefeller area. Central park is about a 10 minute walk as well. There are loads of great places to eat in the area. If you go to the end of the street and turn up left there is the Times Square Diner which we ate in repeatedly. It was packed all the time with locals so it's usually a good sign. I'd definitely recommend the hotel for a stay in the city. It's affordable and central for all sightseeing. Will be returning

Great value for location and convenience. Spacious two bed room with far end location away from noise and distractions. Excellent remodeling job for an older hotel. Would highly recommend for theatre goers and times square activities.
