We stayed here from the 11th till the 19th of December. This was our first time in New York, and after reading the comments on this hotel I decided to book it...what a good choice. The rooms are large but the bathroom is tiny. The fridge and microwave in the room are very handy! We stayed on the 5th floor...

The Belvedere was not the hotel I chose for this NYC visit, however, it made a nice change of pace. The hotel originally chosen on Priceline was demolished to build condo's. The original location chosen was near Carnegie hall, not Times Square. All that said I have to say that our stay at the Belvedere was quite nice. The staff...

After studying the reviews for the Belvedere Hotel on this website I booked a 3 night stay over Christmas weekend. I requested a quiet, renovated room. We checked into a room on the 7th floor and I was told all the rooms had been renovated. The furniture in the room was quite banged up, although clean. Because of this website...

We had a single room with king size bed. This hotel had everything you need if staying in NY: hot water strong showers and comfortable bed. The rooms were not spacious but that's not a surprise for a NY hotel. It was only a couple of blocks from Times Square which was great. Valet parking and bellhop service were good...

Stayed here from 29th November for 4 nights. We had a high floor as requested - so good views. Room was very clean and comfortable and reasonable size and even had a small kitchenette Hotel is in a great position, only 5 minutes walk from Times Square, but on a quiet side-street. I have seen that other reviewers complain about...

The Belvedere was perfect for our three day stay. With three of us (two women, and one son) the "corridor" into the room offered a private nook for quick fchanges and the "kitchenette" area gave an extra sink for teeth brushing etc. . 5 minutes walk to Times Square and all that surrounds it and a subway station 3 minutes...

I just spent two nights at the Belvedere. My primary purpose for being in New York was to see three shows in two days and this location was great for that. The room was pleasant and clean. I had three problems which would make me hesitate to stay again in the future. 1) sometimes the wait for the elevator was...

We have just returned from a fantastic five night stay at the belvedere! This was our second visit to new york and the hotel met all of our expectations. Stayed for 7 nights from 19th Nov - pretty much as advertised. If like us you like to do a show (or 5) and eat late this is a perfect location as main resturants (Resturant row / Hells Kitchen) are on your route back from Broadway. Mostly an easy walk (10min max) even in the rain. NB for a 24hr...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
