This was our second stay at The Belvedere this year. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and will go out of their way to assist you. The hotel is very clean , including the lobby area, washrooms etc. Our room was spacious enough for our family of four, and the small kitchen was very useful., bathroom was small but we...

Third time in 18 months my wife and I have stayed here. Most recently over the 4th of July. Each time we have had a great experience. Our recent rip revolved around a cruise out of Brooklyn. An early morning check in was no problem. The room they had booked was not avaiable so the front desk "upgraded us" so...

We stayed at the Belvedere July 18-21, 2006. Having had some negative experiences in the past at Manhattan hotels, we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Belvedere for the price ($200 a night, which to me is high, but not by NYC standards). All the staff members we encountered were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious...

We just returned from a four day trip to New York where we resided at the Belvedere. My husband and I traveled with our 2-year-old as well as an 18-year-old relative. Overall, the hotel was fine. The room was large enough for all of us and the refrigerator and microwave came in handy for drinks, snacks and doggie-bag leftovers. Just...

We selected the Belvedere after reading the excellent reviews and our family of 4 stayed here July 10-14. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and felt it was certainly large enough to accomodate us comfortably. The staff of the concierge desk were especially nice and helpful in getting us tickets to about anything we wanted to...

My son and I stayed at the Belvedere from July 11 to July 14. Although the hotel elevators were slow and the bathroom rather small, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff and guests were friendly, i.e. squeezing as many people as possible on an elevator because we all knew the wait for te next one could be 15...

We just returned from another stay at the Belvedere and I don't think I have one complaint! The location and price is ideal. The subway station around the corner took us to all the places we wanted to go. The room was quiet and a good size. Everyone complains about the elevator being slow but I just went to the...

This hotel has much to offer: perfect location, comfortable and clean rooms, pleasant staff and good value for money. The bathrooms are on the smaller side as there is little counter space to spread your things out, however, we managed fine with two adults and two kids. The kitchennette was useful to store drinks and prepare quick snacks. The elevators...

We just returned from our stay at the Belvedere Hotel in NY and I swear right here and now that we will never return. The staff was consistently rude throughout our stay. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was about the size of a matchbox. Everytime we wanted to take the elevator, we would have to wait at least 10...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
