This was my second stay at the hotel and I got to experience a different season in the neighborhood but also a different room type! I stayed in a Junior Suite designed by Michael Smith. I cannot emphasise enough how amazing the staff, service and quality of my stay was. The Lowell along with it's stunning location knows how to...

I checked into this hotel when my apartment was not available. My short stay was absolutely enchanting. The friendly staff, the delightful room service and cleanliness of my room was exquisite. I have stayed in many hotels on the upper east side, and highly recommend this boutique hotel for you're stay. Wonderful and fantastic location.

It's expensive (but hey, this is Manhattan) but still offers good value for anyone looking for luxury combined with charm and personal service in the heart of the upper east side. It feels smaller than it is - and in this case that's a very good thing. The feel is intimate, and that makes you feel at home from the...

This amazing hotel never disappoints me. If staying on the upper east side, this is the only place I will stay. From the moment you are greeted exiting the taxi, you are treated warmly and graciously. I highly recommend staying no where else in this part of NYC.

Stayed here for a week while on business in NY and really enjoyed it. Lovely small, intimate boutique hotel in a great location and very convenient for all the main stores. The staff were very attentive and the team serving breakfast were lovely. All in all a very comfortable stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, cosy hotel.

Staying here is like being at home or visiting a wealthy friend with great taste. A true Oasis in busy, hectic Gotham. Great access to all the great venues of the Upper East Side. Stay here if you're looking for a home away from home in NYC.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
