On arrival (post 3pm) our room was not ready however we were looked after and enjoyed a cocktail in the bar before making it up to the spacious 27th floor room. The room was nice, lots of space, two comfy larger than single beds and a walk in closet. Good view from the two north facing windows. Tea/coffee making facilities...

Can't count the times I've stayed in the Waldorf. I know there are better, trendier, cooler hotels bu I've been going here on business since the Seventies and I can't go anywhere else. I recommend it to anyone over the age of 30, maybe 40! Just beware of rooms near Function Suites or lift shafts.

I stayed here for a 2 day getaway with friends. Located on Park Avenue in New York the area is very busy. After spending the usual hustle and bustle day in the city, the quiet and comfort of the hotel was luxurious. The breakfast at Oscars and the dinners at the Bull and Bear were delicious and the service was...

Myself, 2 teenage daughters and father have stayed at this lovely Iconic hotel for the last 3 years, for 4 nights each time. When I saw I could stay at the Waldorf for a few dollars more, I went for it. I loved it. The whole Art Deco thing, and the idea of walking out the door and being in the middle of everything. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
