Great hotel with pool.Clean and comfortable.Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. My only small complaint is that the rooms are very dark. A ceiling light would be good.I would stay here again as it has the best cafe/deli next door with fabulous breakfast. We ate there every morning and the staff were just lovely.

Travel Inn has a very good location close to Time Square, it´s located in Hell´s Kitchen area. You can get Broadway, Fifth Avenue and many other remarkable places in Manhattan just walking around. The hotel is just good for getting some rest after walking during the day around the city. It´s an old building but in good conditions with comfortable...

Good location and reasonable price. Rooms were decent size, but beds were not comfortable. Bathrooms were small, as to be expected in NYC. Hotel has homeless folks living on one floor. Guess the city is paying their rent. There was a security guard on that floor and we never saw any of them. Would probably try to find another hotel...

We stayed here over the Christmas period, and could not have asked for anything better. The rooms were spacious, immaculate and very clean. There was hanging space, chest of drawers, a fridge, tv, microwave etc. The only thing missing was a kettle. The beds were very comfortable and it was a powerful hot shower. Great location on 42nd street and...

We stayed here 27th December 2016. The location is superb! A few blocks from Times Square, Carlos Bakery and Grand Central Station to name a few! The reception staff were friendly and a safety deposit was available at reception on request. The rooms were clean. Although the decor was a little run down and a part of the hotel where...

The rooms were clean and decent size. It was very handy having a fridge and microwave. The location is convenient to Times Square and the subway with lots of conveniences all around. We would stay there again.

Great low-budget hotel right off Times Square. Stayed here with my kids in July 2016. Room was a decent size for NYC. Bathroom was small but clean. Pool was great! Big, clean, lots of deck space, and partially covered. Only drawback was that the room was noisy - we were on a corner and the supply cupboard was right beside...

This hotel is older and it shows in the lack of cleanliness and the hearing systems. They claim to have a gym that has been shut down and there is no equipment. Heat works but the noise of the other rooms was awful and there is no fan system to drowned out the noise. Bathroom was small but clean. The...

This hotel is very dated. By dated I mean no outlets, old squeaky bedding with dips in the middle, unfriendly and unhelpful front desk staff. Forget early check-in...even minutes early. They won't budge. We had to unplug all lamps but one to charge our phones. EVERYTHING is outdated. Like my title says, the only good thing is the location. It's...

This is the 3rd time i have stayed in this hotel and i cannot praise the staff enough. They are extremely helpful with any query and always say hello. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from Times Square and is an excellent location, particularly for the price. A great diner is attached for a fab breakfast at an extremely...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
