We took our family including 2 young girls to New York City this past weekend and stayed at the Travel Inn. I was impressed by the reviews on this site therefore, I decided to give it a try! When I go back to NYC, I...More
I stayed here at the end of July 2006 and had a nice and comfortable stay. I travelled to NYC by myself and was a little concerned about my safety, but all is well when you're inside the Travel Inn. I don't know what the...More

I am a 37 year old woman, who stayed at the Travel Inn between 6/28 and 7/1/06 with my 9 year old daughter and 14 year old daughter. The hotel was very clean, but that is as far as I care to compliment this hotel....More
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

We don't have any homeless people staying in the hotel. We have two buildings. One of these buildings is housing single women with children while they await there permanent housing apartments provided by the city. These individuals are not homeless, they are simply in transition from one apartment to another. All of our guests are occupying rooms located adjacent to this building. If you are still uncomfortable with this, please feel free to contact property directly or your booking agent to modify your reservation. We will be happy to refund anything you have paid. We hope you will choose to stay with us in the fall.
